Anyone got any advice on how to stop thinking about someone that you shouldn't be? I met up with an ex the other day to catch up when he visited my city, and it was fun (no lines were crossed) but now he's returned home, and I feel.... weird. I don't want anything to happen there (nor should it, as I have a bf who I am in love with) but I just can't get him out of my head... Ideas for distraction mechanisms? This will go away eventually right?

Often times we are triggered by other people, and your ex is definitely triggering something inside of you...what is it? In my experience, once I figure out what it means for me, personally, the feelings fade in intensity. It is like they are there to teach me a lesson, and once the lesson is learned, the feelings go on their way. ![]() ![]() |
