My family and I need your prayers My family and I need your prayers

You read my heart as well as you read my mind, Sweetheart! You know me very well!! At this point, I think a mediator would be our best course. I don't know how that will be received. My family and I need your prayers

I need to be in constant prayer to manage my emotions. God just answered one of my prayers through you. My family and I need your prayers

It all depends on how much they want to resolve the conflict that has been wedged between you all.. I agree a mediator would be a good idea, to keep the conversation peaceful! they dont want me to come out there and kick any ones butt do they???????

I am sorry, Tomi.. all you can do is except the responsibilty for your actions and your actions alone. you cant change the past, all you can do is make changes to ensure the future will be better. you CAN NOT except responsibilty for their actions. no matter how easy it may be to assume the responsibility of it being all your fault!!! it isnt.... you know deep in your heart that it isnt just one person's doing... everyone had a hand in it in one way or another.

some one once told me that we must let hatred go for it will comsume us inch by inch..
No one is perfect... as they say "let he who is without sin, cast the first stone"

It DOES stink! No matter how hard I try to get my mind off of things and give the poor brain and heart a small vacation, they don't listen. Just like the earth, they keep right on spinning! My family and I need your prayers

No... it doesn't work, does it? A mightier Hand has it under control.

Now if I could just remember that He has this situation under control, too... minute by minute...

You believe in God so I'm going to say:

God has not created the world in one day.

Time Tomi. Give it time.

Hi (((Tomi))):

One of the big things that I'm constantly having to work on doing is letting go of expectations and of exerting any kind of control over outcome, (over which we have no control anyway).

As I make changes in my own behavior and outlook, etc., I, of course, find myself hoping it will change the dynamic, (with my brother for example), but not having that expectation and not having any kind of change in him be the goal has really been freeing in a lot of ways, and it sure does help to not be overly (and even devastatingly) disappointed like I used to be when some effort I made did not result in a change that I wanted, beyond how it has helped me 'radically accept' what IS (for now) and reconscile myself to the reality as it exists now.

Thinking of you, (((Tomi)))...

XOXO,

J.

Once again, we need your continued prayers.

We were to have a family meeting tonight but I've had to postpone it. Jerry is having chest pains again because of the stress this is causing him.

He needs your prayers for peace and healing and the DIL needs prayers for a gentle, forgiving heart and an open mind.
