Tell your pdoc how much you're sleeping.

i goto a community mental health center getting a appt there or even attempting to talk to a doc there is like standing at the end of a line on black friday at midnight.

its completely useless and idk why i did it.

My nurse keeps saying I need to see the doctor - but I keep telling her I can't get there - I've said loads of times I'll do it by phone - but that's just not good enough.

if a medicine says to take twice daily does that mean one in the morning and then later OR two pills at once for the whole day?

It means once in the morning and once later on.

I'm here. Trying to get out of bed because I know if I stay here, I'll just start to cry about everything that went wrong in my life. But . . . it's so comfy.

Thanks, guys! I did spend the whole day in bed, because when I got up to go for a run in my shiny new 'London 2012' kit, like seven tourists asked me if I am an Olympian and I was like . . . no . . . didn't the wheezing and lobster face tip you off? Seemed better to just stay in bed after that.

im starting to take my meds out of pure boredom

but all this getting out is making me seriously paranoid

been drinking all day on all my meds

Weird connection feelings are back. I wear ear plugs at church to control the noise and feel less overwhelmed by all the sounds around me. Today I had a profound sense of knowing what people all around me were thinking and feeling. I felt a powerful urge to get up and hug everybody during the service, but I stayed frozen to my seat because I also felt other strange feelings of anger and hatred coming from them. I feel like a crab without a shell - a cell without a membrane. I am other people and they are me. I love them and they hate me. It is all so terrifying and confusing.

I can't sleep. I had a bad dream that the HBC transdermal patch I have is actually giving me anti-psychotics.

I suggest you stop. It's hard to have any sympathy for your theory that your meds are making you crazy when you're drinking so much.

Not sure why you'd want to do that. I'm sure I could do that too - as long as I was willing to risk getting my feet wet.

They make a plastic thingy so women can pee standing. There is a group of (altogether too radical, in my opinion) feminists that hand them out at music festivals here so women can be "empowered". I think they look like giant purple willies, though. :-/

lets just make that clear. im straight and i love being female.

The appropriate response to having problems with your meds is to talk to your pdoc, not to begin drinking heavily. Alcohol will only make things worse for you.

I know the mhc isn't very responsive. I really understand that. I had a hard time getting the mhc here to respond to me too. And I think my son's concerns were pretty much ignored when he bothered to mention them at all. That's why we're with a private provider now. I wish you had an advocate to speak up for you and to at least try to intervene.

So, you're on a dose of medication that's possibly too high or possibly not a good med for you. You're sleeping a lot and hallucinating more. You can:

1. Continue taking the meds and suffering.

2. Quit the meds cold turkey without telling anyone. ==> This will no doubt lead to disaster and more forced treatment.

3. Start drinking heavily or self-medicating in other ways. ==> This will add another layer of problems to your current difficulties.

4. Begin trying to advocate for yourself. Talk to your pdoc or your case manager or someone. Contact that group in Fort Worth that I mentioned a few weeks ago and see what they do and if they can advise you. Look for a private provider who might be more responsive to your needs.

This is your life and your body, newtus. Yours should be the lead voice in your treatment IMO. But you have to be sensible. And you have to be responsible for your actions. This on the meds, off the meds, add huge amounts of caffeine, start drinking thing isn't likely to work. It's just going to leave you perpetually off-balance and always being forced into the hands of people who will take away your power to decide for yourself.

Quit the booze. Limit the caffeine. Tell your pdoc you're sleeping too much and hallucinating more.
