So, I went to see the doctor, like one of you advised me to.
And they said I am schizophrenic.

For some reason, it is sort of a relief knowing that is what it is.

I need your guys help though.
How do you get yourself un-afraid of the things you see, hear, etc.

Have you been able to talk to your doc about the things you see and hear and stuff?

Medication might be able to help so that the things you see and hear don't seem so frightening to you.

Well I am still working and some things take forever!, even know you do not want them to. When I first heard what my doctor said, got medicine and all that stuff I was amazed and a little upset. It was a big blur that to this day still strides my brain and sticks with me. When I learned more "shrink" stuff and all that I try to remind myself it is just a out of realty type thing, but it does not seem to work. Who knows maybe they really are there maybe we do have the wonderful key to a special world. God bless you! Sarah

Sometimes it can take a while to find the right kind of medication and the right amount of medication that works for you.

I hope you feel better soon.

I don't like feeling scared.

In the meantime... What kinds of things do you like to do? Is there anything that you like to do that could help you feel better if you start to feel afraid?

Do you like to draw?
Do you like bubblebaths?
Do you like to watch funny movies?
Do you have someone you can talk to if you start to feel afraid?

Sometimes those kinds of things can help.

At night I get real mortified! I can not seem to help it I am scared out of my mind! Doctor but it helps NO MATTER WHAT AGE YOU ARE, GENDER, SIZE etc. To find somfort items some of my personal favorites are, stuffed animals! Bead pillows, micro soft blankets, those pillows that hug you, fuzzy bathrobe, books, notebooks, pens, old letters from people very special to you, favorite poems, magizines, remember someof the sweet posts and people on PC etc. those are just some ideas. It really does help and once you find some things it can help cope. Good luck!

Thank you all so much for your inputs.
You all are so kind.

I will give you an update.
I got some tests done, and apparantly the medication has no affect on me, so they took me off of it.
They are considering institutionalizing me, I am nervous about that.
But if it's the best thing I will go.

Thank you all ever so much.

Hey. It is understandable that you would feel nervous about that... On the upside it will give them a chance to find a good medication for you that will help.

I hope you feel better soon.
