Glad my nurse is coming tomorrow, I was going to say maybe I could get into a police safe house, like I'll be safe with the police around, I'd be in more danger.

This police force target innocent people

I finally visited my cat and she's doing very badly. Her belly is hard and she growls if you touch it. She was constantly screaming in pain and having contorted body movements. She's also bleeding in the land down under; I feel so overwhelmed. I can't keep her at my home and the current place she is living at is terrible. I'm starting to break down because of how hard this is and I view pets as my babies because I most likely could never reproduce due to female health complications. I heard a voice today that told me to kill myself so I already know I'm going to go extremely manic from being bullied by voices and by my over emotional attachment to my babies. Life is hard

Sorry to hear that. Yesterday I found out that one of my cats has arthritis and he's only like three years old.

A lot of people don't realize that animals can have the same mental and physcial alignments as people can. I took care of two raccoons before, one had diabetes and the other had epilepsy. The epileptic racoon took his medicine with fluff since raccoons have huge sweet tooths haha.

Might be going to the hospital, just voluntarily , get away from the police - I don't want to die this month.

they said amanda bynes was released from hospital with her schizophrenia/schizoaffective condition. but they say "rehab"

That's so sad she has schizoaffective. They always use the word "rehab" to downplay psychiatric hospitals for stars because it looks bad due to the stigma of mental illness. I'm surprised she came out with her illness though.

I hope she turns her life around and becomes an advocate for mental health.

your right i believe. i notice "rehab" seems to be a term-for-all. whether mental illness or substance abuse in the news.

she also didnt come out with her illness. i watched most of it play it out and it was supposedly leaked that she had schizophrenia and bipolar. i came to believe "schizoaffective" but im sure its schizo-...something...

for some reason i dont think she will be. idk if it was just her illness but i heard she put up a temper and was a bit noncompliant acting in the hospital for awhile.

Depends if there are any beds at the hospital anyway, but my nurse said the police can't take me out the hospital for things like interviews and a member of staff would be there.
So I should be safe.

I hope it goes ok Kureha - I hated the hospital and there was no way I was staying voluntarily, so I hope it works out for you

Thanks willow, they are trying to get me to one of the better hospitals, hopefully the same one I was in last month.

My dr has been sorting it out today.
My nurse is going to call tomorrow to let me know what is happening.

I saw this as well and I think using the word "rehab" just confuses the issue. Despite the fact she was smoking marajuana it seems (from the incident of throwing a bong out the window,) rehab makes it sounds like she has a major drug or alcohol problem vs. saying hospital which is a term which puts her situaition in the correct light. She wasn't well and needed to rest and get better.... Just my 2 cents. Of course my dad went to the heart rehab after he was in the hospital last year, but they call it heart rehab... so even then it's just using words to confuse people.

But I also read she is looking into college for fashion design and would like to create her own clothing line. I wish her all the sucess in the world on this goal. With her situation and diagnosis having been very public, I think it would be a majorly good thing for the mental health community as a whole and especially people with sz and sza. To show that you can become well again with a diagnosis, and successful, would be such a positive example vs. all the negative stories. To show that people with sz are normal people with normal goals... so I will be watching close for stories on her and rooting for her every day.

Kurhea: If you feel the hospital is the right place right now I support your decision. I hope you can get a bed. If it makes you feel safer and better it's the right choice.
