@didgee-dont laugh, but can you do somersaults and/or cartwheels? I like them for the muscle use sensation, and also topsy turvy rocking sensation.
Thanks for this!

I would be okay with it if it were a picture of my little dog. But not of my weight! It is funny though that is the picture that got stuck in the glitch!

they might fix the glitch in the next update

Yes I did try and I found out by reading in the FAQ/Help section that a post can only be edited or deleted up to four hours after you post it. Anything beyond that you have to get a Moderator to delete it. Costello is a Moderator so I am hoping that she is able to delete that picture post off for me. It is weird how that one got caught up in a glitch like that. I wish it would of been a picture of my little dog or something!

Newtus I hope they fix it or maybe Costello can go in and erase it for me. She's a Moderator and should be able to do that. I'll wait and see what she says.

I'm sorry you cut yourself. I have never done that but I've experienced that with my daughter. She use to do that to her self when she was on Abilify. Once I got her off that she has never done it anymore. She has scars from doing that to herself. It was very hard for me to understand and it made me very sad

I'm sorry to hear that. If you don't mind me asking, can you please tell me this....does it really make you feel better when you do it?

If I am triggering you by asking this question please tell me and I won't ask anymore questions. I don't want to be the cause of you doing this but I would like to understand if possible.
Thanks for this!

I know you didn't directly ask me but I wanted to answer anyway.

Yes, it does make me feel better when I do it. Otherwise I wouldn't do it. Why would I do something like that if it had absolutely no payoff whatsoever? I wouldn't. I self harm for a lot of reasons but the main one is to regulate my emotions.

Hope this helps, if you have more questions just ask. I'm not easily triggered.

I had just posted the question to you when you posted this. Thank you for answering. My daughter would tell me that she had so much pain inside that when she did this it was like a release for her. What I didn't understand was why she only did this to herself when she was on Abilify and after stopping this medication she said she never felt the need to do it again. I never understood that.

Abilify has side effects like all medications do, it's possible she had a really bad reaction to it. I know for me it increased my anxiety to the point where I was having panic attacks every hour, it sure as hell increased my urge to cut.

No, I did not laugh. The somersaults sound like a good idea. I'm going to try that.

I cut myself a few times when I was a teenager. It only happened when I was on Zoloft and Paxil. I became impulsive on these drugs. When I was in hospital a patient taught me how to SI. The behavior repulsed me, but I did it anyway, without thinking it would scar me for life and push people away. Now, I have scars that constantly remind me of my adjustment problems all those years ago.

I have seen a few people covered in them. Sad.

Please try to find more effective ways of coping.

I reacted really badly to Zoloft too. Antidepressants and me just don't mix.

My daughter did go into the hospital right around that time too. It was her first experience in the hospital and she did tell me of a lot of things she learned while there. I wonder if that contributed to it also. Hmmmm.....so thankful those days are over. That was a very scary time.
Thanks for this!
