Yea, I think so.
I guess some days being a people person is not what we want to be. Is she always that mean? Maybe she was having a bad day.
If she is always mean, maybe she need a job that doesnt require people skills.

She doesnt need all those things now but it did help her a lot. Strobe for visuals, radio for audio hallucinations.

I've used a radio in the past for voices, but I've only been considering the strobe light recently. I'm just concerned what my mom will think if she walks in on that.

lol. yea. The whole room was spinning like a crazy merry-go-round. And noisy! But you know what? If it works, Its worth a good nigh sleep without fear. Let her know what its for and maybe she will understand. I did.
Or just tell her it calms you down. Therapeutic.

Lol yes! Dancing with myself and all that.

re: Gingers

I once wrote an essay against gingers for English (the assignment was to write a demagogic rant using as many logical fallacies as possible) and performed it at my school's coffee house (like a talent show but less formal).

Most of the audience didn't realize it was satirical, and one kid who had a ginger brother threw a piece of food at me. XD

Did I tell you last time I was with my new pdoc she basically said she would have a little chat with the receptionists for me because one was a jerk...she looked totally horrified to find out and said they were training new people...maybe you should mention it to your pdoc?

That is very strange.
We need that around here for the deer.
Were overpopulated and they run in front of the cars all the time causing accidents and injuries.
I always used to tell the kids while driving at night "watch for eyeshine on the side of the road"
They jump out at you!

Start with just a couple of classes.
Dont let homework scare you. Consider it a good challenge.

Yeah I'm not sure how you'd catch all the deer though...these guys are domestic so that makes it easier but yeah anytime I was driving in northern Wisconsin in a wooded area I was so afraid a deer would total my car...

College was a great time even with the homework but then I'm kind of a mega nerd...but I haven't ever met anyone who thought college just sucked there really is something for everybody to love there and it's really the first time in your life that you get to pick what you want to do without compromise...

True, but I don't know if college is for me. I use to LOVE school when I was in high school. Though it seems like that was before I started developing real bad symptoms of my mental illness (well the first time I was hospitalized was my senior year of high school). When I had started college at the community college it always made me feel like the world was going to end. Then I started school in another city at an art college that was considered a degree mill. Big mistake. Of course I did well but with work and everything that's when my psychotic symptoms started getting worse. Ended up quitting school, quitting my job, and in the psych ward. Ended up at a homeless shelter in a city I wasn't familiar with.

Yeah I was well past college when I got sick so it's hard for me to judge but I think medical fox and little didgee are doing the college thing and doing Well but they have accommodations and stuff. You know I was actually just reading about a free online college that was accredited just recently I meant to post it here...I mean there is no risk with that at all otherwise it's a lot of money although I think Eli Lilly or one of the other companies sometimes gives awards to people with sz....I'll see if I can find the info on that stuff.

Accreditation

OK so here is the online school I was talking about just got accredited this month however I read and there is a small admission fee and there is a $100 per class grading fee but that is less than you would pay for a book these days so it's still a pretty good deal IMO but it's meant to be sort of a social equalizer....I was actually thinking of Newtus when I first saw it but then I forgot to post here...but yeah it's actually really good for anyone I meant to look into it myself to give my brain a little tune up...

Requirements

So I just found a big catch it's banned in some states for regulatory reasons illinois and Texas are among them, Ohio looks good though.

I think I'm totally losing it. I almost did something really stupid today and had to fight with the voices to put it off. I keep getting flashes from other places. Little visions. I don't know where I am anymore and I'm scared. I may be in this world physically, but mentally I am all over the place. And I'm scared I won't be scared anymore. They're doing something to me.

Thanks Punky, but it would be unusual for me to do this and might arouse suspicion. Everyone normally comes to me with lumps and skin rashes etc as I went to medschool...

They're running a course quite soon, but it's full. My OT is hoping someone drops out so I can go, otherwise it'll be a while, which is a shame.

Every adult always says about how lovely her hair is! Kids just call her ginger, which she isn't. My youngest brother has ginger hair and was picked on for it, but like I told him kids pick on you for being tall/short, fat/thin, clever/stupid, poor/rich (posh) etc. Basically anything they think will hurt you. Kids are mean sometimes!

lol reminds me of my friend Heathers hair color. My friend Sabrina always calls her a ginger but I never really thought of her as a ginger lol. Yeah kids will pick on you for anything. I have no idea how many times I've been called crazy in a "bad way" in school. I just embraced the term and was basically told them to go f u c k themselves. Though not everyone has that same attitude.
Thanks for this!
