I have been silent stalking my friends who are on roll call. I miss you guys too! I've been posting some in some other parts of PC. To be honest i am having some struggles but i am hanging in there.
My mind is revved up tonight and i wan it to slow down! I am watching hell's kitchen on hulu with one of my dogs-brutus, and eating carrot sticks. And reading roll call of course! ...You guys?

I'm going between fb and roll call. I only have a fb for some social issues I'm involved in, but 2 family members found me, lol. I was on fb awhile back but deleted it cause one of my aunt's kept posting every detail of her life, lol. Anyway that's all I'm doing.

Oh and trying to keep my cat Midnight from jumping off the balcony. He thinks he's a black panther at night and jumps down. I feel like I'm holding him prisoner, but there are coyotes around where I'm at.
Thanks for this!

Oh no! Kitties and coyotes is a no-mix! I used to have a fb, i made it under a false name so no one could "find" me. I looked for the people i wanted then sent them a message saying, "hey, its me!" That way i was in control. But i don do fb anymore.
Good luck keeping your kitty in!!!

I'm thinking about quiting my cna job and becoming a dog walker/sitter for a family owned dog company. I hate how the head nurse doesn't listen to my scheduling requirements and makes me manic. I am suppose to work 20 hours for them, but they are making me work 38 hours a week on top of my second job and full time in college. They make me so manic and it's terrible. So do you think I should do that? Thoughts?

I don't have much advice tonight, I got a little buzzed. Maybe someone else has some good advice.

I am still up but planning to lie down and try to sleep.

Medfox, if you can make enough money for your requirements, and you might enjoy the ndw job and get better hours-i say go for it! You have been unhappy where you are for quite awhile. It is not worth sacrificing your health and happiness. Change is always good!
Thanks for this!

I had a really bad few days of being manic. My cna job is over scheduling me like crazy and it sucks since it's finals week. We moved to my boyfriend's mother's house and she's so nice to us. I never lived in a functional household before so it's kind of weird to see a family not fighting and getting along so well. She makes us dinner and is letting us live there for free until we get an apartment

Thanks for asking

It pays better than my cna job surprisingly which is why it's so tempting. I think I will apply

That's okay, sometimes I don't have good advice either so I just press the hug button because it helps people feel better.

I remember seeing u on the bp forum. I used to be into that forum yrs back under a different name until it just became hostile.

I remember them being hostile to you. I think some bp behave that way bc they think that's how they should behave, they think, oh that's part of my dx...idk I think bp is way too over diagnosed. Jmo I suppose.

I go on there every so often because I have a few bp friends there. The people that used to be hostile to me don't post as much as they used to so I don't worry about my posts being attacked or anything of the sort.

Yeah there are a couple people on there that didn't like me and attacked me on certain subjects, I never lost my cool though since it's the internet and doesn't really matter. Not everyone with bp is like that, but a few are quite hostile. I find the schizophrenia forum more like family (and it relates to my illness better) so I am on here almost all the time.

It's very tempting! I'm manic right now so I have to ask my boyfriend if it's a good decision or not in the morning. He's my eyes when mind are clouded so I follow his advice frequently.

You're up quite late, did you have trouble sleeping?

Yeah I spontaneously woke up at 3 last night I think because I was supposed to be up at 5....we have this big convention downtown this weekend so I was supposed to be on my way already but I decided to skip a few sessions in favor of my sanity because I have to be there tomorrow...8-5:30 and the commute is around 2 hours each way so it's a long day.

My son too. I've suffered from insomnia my whole life, so I'm really interested in the subject. Some people are saying resistant starch helps them sleep. If my son's sleep starts getting bad as his dose goes down, I'm going to suggest that to him. He probably won't try it, though. He hates when I suggest dietary things. Some people say it causes vivid dreams, though - maybe not good for people with psychosis?

And since people with sz are notorious for having trouble being med compliant, I can't help but wonder what the med success rate would be if we only looked at people who were proven to be med compliant.

Wow. I admire that. I don't have a journal, but I do tend to cling to things that bring back memories - even bad memories. I don't know why it's so hard for me to throw those things away.
