thats a good incentive to kill myself.

I don't think there is anyone who is like yay sz or even psychosis. If it wasn't discovered what would have happened differently? Would you have done better in school without treatment? If you didn't have disability would you be working to support yourself? These things are meant to help you....if you don't want them nobody is forcing you to take the money or the help. However there are minimums----anything lethal or illegal and you don't get that choice...but that applies to everyone no just you not just the MI

Did you ever read the center cannot hold by elyn saks...she had this during school too but she kept trying things until she found something that worked...in her case psychodynamic therapy with a pdoc and some meds---clozapine even...there are no limits on you because of the illness...she won a genius award and is a lawyer, psychologist and professor. If you put up some sort of block on your goals because somebody labeled you then its time to fix that now. There is no reason you can't do whatever you want to... it may take more time or more effort but you can still get there and it will mean even more to you when you do get there...

Your thinking is worrisome right now. Just hope you can stay safe.

the only reason i cant go its cause ive gone so many times my family is upset plus i cant pay for hospital anymore. i cant afford it

Depends on how you feel usually there is a warning to be careful with driving but you assess that for yourself. You can always try a less sedating med...just ask your pdoc for an alternative----canada must be different they don't usually start people on haldol here but an atypical like risperidone or equivalent.

You may have to wait and see how things are once you've adjusted to the meds. If you continue to feel sleepy, the pdoc may have to lower the dose.

My son takes an AP - olanzapine - and he drives.

I don't drive atm but I definitely wouldn't when it's bad. Mine wears off after a while does yours or is it constant? I would advise just not driving when they are blurry

Lol who would of thought a starting dose of Paxil makes a big difference for my depression. Otherwise I'm crying like a big ol' baby all the time. I thought the zyprexa helped with the depression as well but since I ran out of the Paxil I started crying and stuff again. No worries I have my medication at the pharmacy at the moment. It's a wonder they work at all with all this inconsistency of taking medication.
