Yeah... when you go that long you have to be careful about what food you eat when you start back. Definitely no milk products! Try the saltines already suggested. Bananas, applesauce, baked potatoes with only salt. Just giving you some ideas, Newt.

I am feeling much better. I still feel a bit of pain from the migraine but nothing like it was. I'm really hoping that it will be completely gone by tomorrow. Thanks for asking!

newtus: Did you see on PC where Doc John is asking if anyone wants to become a chat leader? I think you'd be really good at this. What do you think about it?

Some of the videos I took yesterday and these ones aren't gang stalking related.

The paxil is better than the prozac and its not clashing with the haldol but I am still not seeing many positive changes in my mental state yet!how long do the meds take before they start really going in to effect?

The ADs take at least a month but APs are faster for some...mine worked in a day....however it may take longer to find an effective dose if you need more....didn't you start with 2 mg haldol....that's super low....you can go as high as 30 mg before reaching an effective dose I'm surprised they aren't tapering you up faster to help stabilize you.

The other day I forgot to take my medication and I paid thhe price. I've had my meds this time around. Aside from being paranoid, I'm okay.

I don't think it's a canada/us thing so much as doc to doc variation....my doc was a specialist in psychosis and head of inpatient care....he's used to rapidly stabilizing and releasing patients....his mindset is more like taper up to an effective dose quickly get people stable and adjust later because he's used to working in the hospital...your doc sounds more like he doesn't want to risk overmedicating you...both I think are valid but 3mg is still a pretty low dose so I wouldn't necessarily expect it to work....for moderate psychosis you start at 2-4mg per day for severe 6-10mg per day with haldol. Those are just the day 1 doses like I said they can go up to 30mg....for me when I was tapering up we increased the dose a little each day(risperidone or seroquel) until the voices mostly stopped.

Do you take medication for your migraines? I get them also and just started Imitrex and it works.

I'm glad they started my medication at the test dose rather than going for a higher one because I responded well at a lower level so I don't need as much which is good

They started my meds at a test dose also they just didn't wait weeks between tapering up...I stopped at risperidone 2mg which is below the therapeutic level of 4mg. Personally I'm happy I didn't have to be psychotic anymore and could return to work instead of applying for short-term disability leave for a more prolonged treatment....

I think they've changed their strategy of going straight to higher doses and try to get people on as low a therapeutic dose as possible cos they know the side effects are horrendous

I just drew this picture its of one of my more prevalent hallucinations I see this one many times its in cartoon form though because I mainly do anime and cartoon artwork I am not so good at drawing realistic looking people but I can draw realistic backgrounds I will attach it to this message so you can click on it and see it Its the one I call the grey kid hes always hiding in the shadows but he looks like this from what I can make out he always gives me the creeps when he watches me.
