Greetings EveryOne!
Taken sleep meds early tonight...been long day!
I've cut back on some of my meds for fear I'll run out before we can get outta here & I'm having a few problems. I'm sure it will work out for the best.
I know one thing I'm not paying hundreds of dollars for office visit & meds. ( thanks o bama) especially when I've got health care back in Canada (courtesy of our tax dollars)
And I will never come off half cocked on another trip with nothing less than 3 mos. supply of meds. Nough said!
And how are all my fellow weary travellers tonight? Tsidanalu~Adageyhdi~GayTaween~

Didn't sleep so well last night, strangely I don't feel tired though. SSRIs seem to help somehow in that respect...

The only voice that I'm hearing at the moment, my internal voice, was being complimentary to me last night. All the harder to switch off & sleep when you can to hear nice things about yourself.

Feeling tired but okay. Slept well throughout the night. I haven't really done much today.

What symptoms were you starting to get? Could you tell that it was happening?

My tongue and lower jaw started moving involuntarily. I didn't realize it was happening until someone pointed it out to me. Needless to say, I was not amused.

My bird passed away on Thursday....possible liver issues or tumor causing breathing difficulties. When I was psychotic I believed she would be reborn as a mini dragon who could filter my voices. It's odd to me that she gets sick every time I get psychosis sick...and now she is gone....

Anyway I drew this bird dragon in tribute to her possible transformation....she is surrounded by peace lilies...

Hello everyone I am new to the forum. I've been ill once before for a few years when I was in my early and mid teens, and now I had a relapse at 19. I am now 21.

See I already get tremors in my jaw as well as my arms and legs but I don't know if that's just normal side effects

Loss of a pet can be tough. Lol I almost cry watching a Friskies commercial because that's what my cat Little Man would eat. I hope you're alright SP.

Whoa, haven't been on roll call in ages. Really pleased since I have an appointment with my new pdoc for next month and he says he wants to diagnose me.... I'm so relieved that I'm finally getting closer to finding out what's been going on these past few years.

I'm ok....I was incredibly torn up on Thursday but after going to work on Friday I started felling more normal....it's when I'm home it's worst...I still have her cage because I'll probably get another bird but I may have to wait until spring...I keep making little voices and whatever when I walk by only to realize she's not there.

I didn't realize how much I interacted with her. I'm thinking maybe a parakeet next time....I like those guys a lot but I get less attached this bird was like more to me than most humans....

I have to pick up her ashes next week though and I'm pretty sure I'll be all messed up again.

But yeah I just need to keep busy and out of the house....I set up a peace lily on her cage and a little dragon statue I had bought to represent her spirit some time ago....it helps me realize she's not physically there anymore although she'll always be with me ....

Oh sometimes psychotic I'm really sorry about ur bird.

Maybe after you grieve, getting another one will help. Have u ever thought about getting a cat?

I was wondering where you were Thursday.

My cats mean so much to me, I know I'm gonna have a hard time when they're gone. I've had midnight like 13 yrs. He's my little old man now, lol. And tiger is just my silly pooh bear, but when he gets wild he becomes a grizzly bear.
Thanks for this!

I'm allergic to fur and those naked cats freak me out....but yeah I'm giving myself two weeks not to just get a rebound bird but make an informed decision....there is a great breeder out in the burbs where I got her but I'm not sure given the season what they would have....

I was considering getting a shelter bird but I'm not sure....they are so much better when they imprint on you...it's different than dogs/cats....I'm thinking just a parakeet though...

This a little off topic, lol but I finally figured something out. When I dye my hair the grays barely hold any color. So I finally found out why and what to do. It's bc my hair is really healthy and course. So I need to put the developer on the virgin hair that hasn't been dyed by itself for like 5 mins. Then I can put the developer and color mixed together on the hair. So I'm gonna go to sallys beauty supply and get some developer.

It's just a big relief bc I can't afford dying my hair at the salon, it's like 70$ to get my hair professionally done. Then for my bday my sisters are gonna pay for me to have it highlighted and cut. It's super long so I'm probably going to get like 4-6 inches off. Anyway, I'm so happy I found this website that talked about stubborn grays that won't dye...

I don't have a lot of grays, but enough...
Thanks for this!
