I'm scared I want weed. I want something to calm me. My mom won't let me buy a bottle of wine. I just want a glass to calm me.

Good thing I have ritalin -.-

Why would she leave the light on in the hallway? Why am I bothered by this? Jeeez save electricity ya ok.. Hypocrite

I turn the number 18 and I get treated so differently.

Most mothers kick their sons out when they turn 18 she said..

Should I just walk outside or something idk it's -20 pack my things and idk get a job in this economy
It's true. Some of my friends have jobs a gf a house a truck and were kicked out

American Football - Radiolab

Listening to a podcast on football....they are talking about the Carlisle indian school and how it was key to the football we have today. It's actually interesting. I'm surprised.

I don't know....I don't drink at all so I never tried that but I worry it would make you more disinhibited so you might act on it.....

Maybe it will calm you down. I remember drinking for anxiety and it did work but even just something that you think will calm you down will work.

I was agitated as hell yesterday so I drank a beer and I guess mixed with the Prozac it was like 3-4.. Calmed me a bit

My parents drink to calm down Idk why I can't .. Meh

Edit: ya remember the disinhibition like some people get really angry or sad on alcohol

It doesn't take much alcohol for me, because I don't drink often, which is why I got wasted with my friend when I was in the hospital.

anyone have any tips or advice for me for traveling to other cities or far away or even going into a big as a young female?

i talked to my dad about all the places i wanted to go during the spring. he said its ok and i should just go but im really scared. i rarely go to even dallas. which is a big city. i dont even goto my hometown much anymore in a years span of time. which is 250k pop.
i stay around the next town over if i ever need anything. which has about 150k population.

im so scared about my safety.
but my dad was like "one day im not going to be here. then what are you gonna do?"
and i was just like "i honestly probably will be going out as much as i am now (2x a week) probably less".

all this ***** i was taught growing up about dont get close to people. watch out for people. etc. i feel like i was taught to be afraid of people idk. and the news just makes it worse.

last spring i visited my grandma in california. i flew by myself for the first time since i was 17. i was deeply deeply deeply scared and had panic attacks and anxiety the whole time i was there. i even threw up. i hid in the airport bathrooms. just...did some weird stuff...but nothing overly weird...i was just scared...

Newtus, do you have a friend you can bring with you?

It would be better to travel in a pair, if you go then I would bring some pepper spray or some form of protection. Don't go into the rough/bad parts of town.

I've never personally traveled by myself but those are some things I would do

no i dont have any friends. all i can ask is family. and the only family i have in this area (that knows me) is my mom and dad. i have some family in dallas but they dont really know me. they only visit a few times a year so its not like they know me. they are older anyway way older. like they are in their 60s. and my dad works everyday. and my mom doesnt want to do much with me (unless its on her own time). which sucks...

thanks for the tips though. i appreciate that.
