Secretum, I worry about this myself. 3 out of 4 of my grandparents have had it.

Hi guys, good morning. I've been up for a few hours, but I've been trying to catch up with what's been going on. Have to get ready for work soon, but I've really missed all of you. It feels nice that they put me on full time, but I really liked having 3 days off. I've never had that since I was a teenager. Working with the executive chef today, which is a bit scary, hence, I'm still in my pajamas. You guys were doing fun facts yesterday, so ..

Fun facts: I can't eat spaghetti without choking on it. Also, my accent changes automatically depending on who I'm talking too.

Question: I was in bed last night around 3am and I heard what sounded like cats fighting outside my house. That kind of high pitched yelp! Thing is there's no cats around here, I don't think I've ever seen a cat in my garden. This went on for about 5 minutes then stopped. Anyway, my question is what other animals sound like this? Could it be a fox or a badger or something?

Either that or I was hallucinating, as I was very freaked out.

I don't think it's a huge deal if you've few symptoms going on and you're going to do it very slowly. It's stopping them all of a sudden makes you're symptoms worse.

Is it wrong of me to be jealous yall who can take medicine and actually have a noticeable difference? Or even symptom free?

My doctor did some DNA test on me once and found out that I have some gene mutation where my body doesn't break down folic acid fully or correctly. I wonder if that has to do with anything.

For those of you who don't know about the DNA test, ask your doctor. It gives you green, yellow and red lists. Green means it'll work best (well supposed to), yellow is watch for side effects and red is avoid. The test also checks for other things which is how I found out I had the mutation. They have a DNA test like that for pain meds as well.

2 of the meds I can come off no problem it's just the Depakote I have to be careful with because last time I did it too fast and had seizures. I do know the tapering schedule for it, it's lower the dose every two weeks. maybe I'll lose some of this ridiculous weight

I've been so hungry lately. I gained 3 pounds in the last week.

I really want to get back to my pre-zyprexa weight. That is 33 pounds slimmer than where I am now!

That's interesting. Here is the one my doctor did. It didn't cost me anything.

Those kind of things can be a bit sketchy. I saw this program about them once and they tested a bunch of them and they all had different results.

Also some insurance companies and that are fighting to have knowledge of these tests. So if you find out you have genes that make it more likely than average you'll get cancer or heart disease they will use that info to deny you insurance or charge you premiums.

I think the idea is kind of cool but I wouldn't get any done until they become more accurate and consistent and when I also know for sure insurance companies or banks won't use the info to screw me over.
