i thought about making an early appointment with my psychiatrist about my anxiety but itd have to be a standby appt. id have to wait in the waiting room for maybe up to 7 hours to see her and its not a guaranteed appt. i cant just call in. this is part of the reason why i hate MHMR. otherwise im going to have to sit and suffer with my anxiety until mid october when i do see her.

So here in Idaho and the gas stations sell e-cigs.

I'm wondering if I should just get my brother to get one from Vancouver when he comes for Christmas or attempt to get my bank card from my mom. She'll probably say no. Ugh I want to be independent but I have nothing.

Cuz I was a mess when I was sick :/

There's a lot I should be getting done but I'm so tired. And I just never feel like doing anything. Nothing appeals to me at all.

Hi Willow,

Evening all,

Had a productive day today! I managed to clean my bedroom, which was a complete tip as well as get some laundry on. I always feel great after having got onerous chores like that out the way, makes you feel like you've really earned slouching on the sofa watching a TV show.

Anyone know how long it takes for a depot injection to go out of your system? Or does it depend on the med?

Clopixol 200mg. It's not available in the US I don't think. I get it every three weeks and have been on it about a year and a half to two years.

I studied medicine years ago, but I left because I no longer wanted to become a Dr. Then I started a psychology MSc 3 years ago. I completed the 1st year, and am going back to complete the 2nd year at the end of this month. I'm looking forward to going back to uni, though I'm not really sure what I'm going to do after I finish the MSc yet.

How's things with you? What are you up to these days? Haven't seen you around much lately.

Good job! You don't by any chance feel like coming to tidy my bedroom do you?! It's a total mess and I promised my parents I would have it sorted before I move (mainly to stop them throwing stuff out the second I leave).

I was supposed to be tidying my room today, but instead I decoupaged a small storage box. Not as productive as I was supposed to be, but better than having a nap, which is what I really wanted to do! lol

Was this another patient or staff? I really hope it wasn't a staff member, but it really wouldn't surprise me. I once had a nurse tell me that they didn't believe that I heard voices cos they'd never seen anyone control voices as well as I did. So I told her that I control my reactions to the voices, not the voices themselves. They punished me for teaching myself the techniques that they claim to teach voice hearers!

It depends on the half life of the injection.

It's got a half life of three weeks, does that mean it wears off in three weeks or six weeks? Sorry for the dumb questions.

It means that half of the drug is gone in 3 weeks, then half of the remaining half is gone in another 3 weeks (so 75% in total is gone in 6 weeks), then half of what's left is gone in another 3 weeks etc etc. Does that make sense?

ETA: I will take a long time to be fully gone from your system, but depending on how sensitive you are to the dose, the effects of it will wear off quicker i.e. at 12 weeks, 6.25% of the original dose will remain, but you probably won't notice the therapeutic effect and will notice the withdrawal side effects (if any) before that point.
