It's the places here with the strictest gun laws that seem to have a higher problem with gun violence...........

theyve had buyback programs here. in many states. im not sure if they had one nationally. i believe they did but it was shortlived if they did. people can still commit crimes and stab you or punch you. you can still get abducted and tortured. basically anything can happen.

i believe only having guns available to the military is like only having the bible available to the pope and other people have to goto church to hear the word. its just not right.

living out in the country we need one here. unlike the city. the police rarely come out here. like i rarely see their cars out here. it takes 20 min for an ambulance to come. things are different and you cant just take away guns. its not that simple. people kill other people.

If I was attacked by a man with a knife or a man with a fully automatic assault rifle how do you think I'd fare in each situation?

The army have drones, mowags, tanks... Do you think civilians should have those too? If the government wanted to overthrow your country they can do that will little to no resistance wether you have guns or not.

I'm sorry but the only argument I'll agree with is when someone comes clean and says "I like guns" that is a more valid argument for keeping guns than the other ones put towards.

The gun problem in america is retarded and it's the people stopping any kind of sensibility being put forward for debate. That's why I don't care when I see another school shooting, you've done this to yourselves. It's a national problem, isolated to the US, that you're all responsible for. Sort it out lads.

americans DO like guns. its internationally known or should be that we do as a nation like guns. BUT having a buyback program or doing away with guns wont help. not all areas anyway. if all areas or some - alone.

we arent like other nations. i believe its the people and the brainwash weve been fed by the government. idk how it started but i believe its not going to stop. we have a larger problem going on. part of it is mental health care and attention to the individual. we dont have adequate care or care about people. our mental health system is just SO SO SO completely under the ground. thats what I believe. ME. just me. and i know my comment about mental health care is true. we ignore peoples problems and put so much attention on people bringing up themselves and not as a community.

a number of our school shootings have been with the person having mental health issues. why is that? nobody pays attention. i remember being passed down by healthcare providers and i STILL am.

where are you from? if you dont mind me asking? is there strict gun laws in your area? because i know states and cities can conduct certain gun buyback programs without it being national.

Morning all!

Shaping up to be a good day today, got my afternoon/evening all planned... two rugby matches... Scotland vs. South Africa & England vs. Australia plus Strictly Come Dancing in-between. Dancing & Rugby go hand in hand, right?

Also on a positive note, I'm not sure whether it's just because I'm more concerned now about my asthma than my psychosis, but my voices seem to be a little quieter again. I think to some extent the less I think about them, or the more I am distracted by something else then the less I notice them.

Good morning peoples!

Just mentally preparing myself for a spring clean of this unnecessarily big house. Parents are home on Monday so gotta get cracking. It's mostly hoovering two weeks worth of husky dog hair off everything downstairs. Should be a fun experience!

Hope you all have a great day today!
Thanks for this!

Good morning you guys. Loial, dancing mixes well with most things. There should be more of it. I dance a bit at work because the area is so small. I either shuffle past the ice box on toe, or I twirl a bit trying to get by with heavy objects. It helps with momentum and inertia. Yesterday I was accused of doing a, "there's ice cream in the window," dance. It was a bit of swing, with some jazz hands thrown in.
