I realized while looking through pics for Newtus' project and realized all my recent pictures show me laughing like a hyena. I would title mine "I laugh because I'm crazy as hell" lol

Now that I realize people are manipulative and deceitful, I finally want to interact with them. It's like a chess game, but better!

Still in testing, but my psychiatrist thought I might be schizoaffective. I've known him for like seven 15-minute appointments. My dad doesn't like any of it. He filled out the observer report like 0000100011000012000000. Lol

If I am schizoaffective, I'm more than willing to take estrogen as a protective measure.

The Role of Estrogen in the Treatment of Men with Schizophrenia

edit
it looks like the research conducted on men is more mixed, with 5 ups, 3 downs, and one neutral.

I could take Zanaflex but it doesn't keep me asleep. I do get a very bizarre buzz from it. But you guys with the benzos are the lucky ones!

No sleep for the wicked. Bad dreams in between. How do we move on from this. I feel so low. Don't want antidepressants though. I had a bath and put on relaxing music and 3 different types of lotion. Was so scared that something was in the flat. When I was younger I had homicidal urges. I'm not like that now though.

Good morning! Up really early, can't seem to get back to sleep. Going to group later today which should be fun, haven't been since a few weeks ago.

Trying to get inspired to draw something in my sketchbook but having a hard time getting motivated

Not all benzos have recreational value, many will just knock you out if you take them at higher doses...

It's really not worth doing so though because it'll just increase tolerance, meaning when you do need them they are less likely to work & also run the risk of addiction.

SSRIs can indeed be helpful for chronic anxiety, they are generally prescribed for GAD. The reason benzos exist as you aptly alluded to is because they are for relief of other acute types of anxiety i.e. panic attacks, social anxiety

Personally, I was diagnosed with mild GAD & put on an SSRI. Alongside talk therapy it pretty much completely got my anxiety under control.

I see someone already mentioned Buspar.

There is also Propranolol which can be used to ease the physical symptoms of anxiety.

Morning all

Far from a nice day here, overcast & cool... not that I mind the cold. Still, I went for my walk although it might be a bit trickier over the next few days as we are due for some persistent rain...

Do you guys think it'll be safe to eat a piece of trout which use by date was yesterday? It's in a sealed packet & has been in the fridge since I got it.... I can't imagine that much harm would befall me eating it one day after it's expiry since it's in a sealed packet...

Not sad in my opinion. Without my sleeping pills I just don't sleep, and while I don't sleep as much as a normal person does I still need sleep or I'll start seeing furniture turning into demons and my walls melting into rainbows... LOL.

I was busy yesterday too, on social media as I don't have the time for things like that during the later part of the week, like Wednesday through Sunday I am busy with offline stuff.
