Yes it's beautiful out! Walked the dog to relieve anxiety. He was a happy dog. 😊

Variable here, but still on the cooler side.

It's about 6°C/43°F and been overcast all day. Little wind too but nothing major.

Shame, because we had some glorious sunshine the past 2 days. I miss the sunshine... don't care whether it's hot or cold, just give me sun...

This is totally out of season for us-----should be at least march before we're getting even hints of this kind of warmth----long live el nino

I should probably turn off 1-click purchases for kindle on Amazon. Just got another book...

Only cost £2.49 though. (It said £2.99, but for some reason it's showing as £2.49... maybe I had some promotional credit on my account or something)

Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb. Meant to be a pretty good fantasy trilogy.

I remember a few years back, it was 15.1°C on Christmas day where I live.

I just looked it up & apparently that is the second-highest Christmas temperature for the UK on record, with the highest being 15.6°C in both 1896 & 1930...

Strange thing was... the year before that, 2010... we had -15°C over the Christmas period.

We've certainly had pretty mild winters for the past few years though.

Last year we were literally buried in snow and it was cold. This year it's snowed twice and we've had 50 degree weather. Strange

Or the one I was going to link before I saw that...

Roll Call 73

And I just couldn't help myself giggling at this one... made me think about that news story of Spaniard who basically did nothing at work for 6 years... only getting found out when he came up for a long service award.

Hi guys, I'm in between the jobs at the minute. A long, busy night awaits me. But that's ok. I have shoes that turn quickly in muck. I'm currently trying to ingest as much caffeine as possible to be able to keep up with the pace.

I found out that my husband's aunt had a heart attack, she's in the hospital, and had/having a procedure today to find out how bad it was. Also found out that my friends in TN are getting evicted and have a month to find a place to live.

On a somewhat brighter note, my friend here in FL can almost be back with her kids. She can be with them unsupervised in the day, but still can't sleep in the house with them at night. She still has a month now that she'll have to wait for that court date that will hopefully allow her to sleep in her house.

I discovered that work coffee with whip cream is rather decent.

Grew up listening to the Dubliners, but never read about this story. Once I read about it on wiki the song made so much more sense and is much more powerful.
