I'm not sure what brands you'll find, but I recommend an Innokin MVP 20w and an Eleaf GS Air tank. And some e liquid. Makes a great starter kit. I still use them and it's been almost a year.

Forgot to mention, it should only cost about $30. About $20 for the 20w, and $8 or $9 for the tank (plus you'll need extra coils for the tank).

If you can go to a vape shop, maybe you can try out a test vape and see what you think. At first, it will make you cough, but that's because cigarettes contain chemicals to keep you from coughing which vape liquid (which is pretty safe) does not have.

I just have a cheap ecig. Bought it from the local smoke shop. It works well and is easy to use and replace tanks as needed. It's been a lifesaver. I still smoke twice a day but I'm down from a pack a day.

Anyone can quit...

The fact you realise you smoke too much is a great first step.

I took me a long time of self-loathing to get in the right mind set but it's almost inevitable we all feel that way eventually.

I don't feel well today. My consciousness is feeling like things are in stop motion. Maybe I just need to eat. I had breakfast and a small lunch. Maybe its this cold, which seems practically over. I think Effexor makes me shake a bit like I'm low on sugar or something. Any ideas?

I think having something to eat is a good idea.

Do things that relax you. I listen to music, watch some television, etc.

Some days are easier for me than others. I try to have an awareness of when I'm stressed.

Did you wean yourself off the smokes at all? Everyone is at me to either give up or go onto a vape, it'll save me money too. I just have zero willpower. I smoke about 15-20 rolled smokes a day, what mg do you think I should go on? Did you find it hard at first?

I feel horrible

Went to a baseball game with relatives and had to leave early because of paranoia.

vaping doesnt always save you money.

i quit cigarettes in december 2014. i started vaping a year before i stopped.

now i notice i spend just as much on vaping as i did on ecigs. if not more because the units like batteries and tanks go south and dont work well anymore. a good one is about 100-200 dollars. for a tank AND battery together. sometimes only for the battery. i spend 100 dollars on juice a month.

it was hard to quit at first. like i said i still smoked cigs for a year while i was vaping. i started vaping at 25mg and went down to 6mg.

I feel the need to explain this. First, I am sorry if I upset anybody. Second, the thread that I reported was the one which encourage people not to be on meds. I don't have issue with people taking meds or not, it's their choice. What an issue for me is the thread maker do it in disrespectful way about other's life choice and they also used threatening words. My sincere apologize to Neil and anyone else who got the impact.

I didn't think it would work, but after 2 days I stopped smoking and only vaped! Of course, I have lung damage and smoking had to stop. But lately I've had about 4 cigarettes over the past 3 weeks.

You could try 12 mg and if you're getting strong cravings, raise it to 18 mg. I'd recommend any of the gear I mentioned, or ofthevalley, or newtus both could recommend good gear if it works for them, and it does.

It doesn't have to instantly work for you. You can dual use for awhile if you're having trouble making the switch. I good saying I've heard is it's not about the ones (cigarettes) you smoke, but about the ones you don't.

Thanks for the replies about vaping. I currently spend €60 a week on smoking. That's a 25g pouch of tobacco every two days. I know that's a lot, also cigarettes are very expensive here. So vaping will be a lot cheaper.

I should be more worried about my health but my pocket seems to be more important right now

I have a battery for an Aspire mini, I just need the top bit. It's all quite complicated, coils, atomizers, clearomizers. Though my fiance vapes so I'll just give him money and ask him to get me what I need.
Thanks for this!
