My 5S has fared very will with a screen protector & an Apple leather case. It has that slightly raised edge around the screen so even when dropped screen facing down, the case absorbs the impact.

I'm not that prone to dropping my phone but have done it a fair few times over the past 3 years.

I'm usually pretty rough with my phones too.
I dropped my phone in the toilet once, then I dropped it a few times and even though it had a case it still messed up the phone. And not just the screen, I mean the entire phone was messed up. The screen flickered and it wouldn't recognize my finger on the screen. Then eventually the screen turned black even when the phone was on, so I had to get a new phone.

I didn't have the money to pay for a new iPhone so I ended up getting an android.

I dropped my first ever smart phone in the toilet when I was 18. It was in my jacket pocket and when I stood up, it slipped right out. I put it in the freezer. Oddly, it worked after. It wouldn't turn on or anything. I didn't learn about the bag of rice trick until years later.

And eww. I hate andriod phones so much. They're so.. Not simplistic. It's too chaotic to me. Like literally. Using androids phones makes me nervous for some reason because there's so much widgets and apps everywhere and ugh. I have to have my phone organized. The first page is just email, notes, voice recorder and the App Store.

They gave me a free new tank and I didn't even ask for it yay.

But it was a smaller one so I used it on my regular vape and that was all I needed to get really medicated ^_^

You know, I'm finding it amusing that a year ago... we were all like "Yeah, yeah... iPhones!"

... whilst now, we are like "Samsung!"

I wonder what it will be next year...

I was of that opinion too until this morning... I guess trying the right version of Android on the right phone can just change you...

It does come down to personal preference though but for many of us (me) we just think something is better without trying something else...

PS - it's not so much that I think Android is better than iOS or anything, more like there isn't as much difference as some people think. They are both good options. Some advantages to both.

iOS checked. Android checked. Think I am gonna try windows phone next time. They are pretty cool imo but too bad not many developers make their applications for windows and when they have the updates are often late compares to other OS

My Mum has a Windows phone. It's great for her since she uses it for business purposes a lot & can sync it with stuff on her laptop easily but yes, they are much more restricted with extra content.

Not sure, but I think top end phones don't tend to have Windows either...

I hate when I start losing my grip with my sleep schedule. Hopefully you'll be able to get back where you're "supposed" to be, and want to be. Glad though that you are feeling better.

I know what y'all mean, I get a good night sleep every 3 or 4 days, the rest of the time it's just tossing and turning, low quality sleep and cat naps. I went to bed at 2 last night, and was up at 5.

Half of the time, I'm wide awake until right when the sun starts to rise and then I pass out. The other half, I fall asleep whenever my body decides during the night.

So it figures I'd have insomnia tonight. Tomorrow the prozac might get delivered and Friday I'm supposed to go to the PCP to get the gabapentin RX. I'm furious with them for playing this sadistic game with me. I should really dump the clinic at this point.
