Tweaky's Palace was nice I didn't mind it. huge swimming pool, gym, computer room, non alcoholic bar, pool table, cafeteria, hair cutting place, inside bank, pharmacy, food and snacks area, clothes shop, giant smoking area..

Went to therapy like 1-6 times a day, psychiatrist every day for 3 months.

I made a bunch of friends there I have no idea how. Like 4 girls legit hit on me too..

Like how the hell I was so lucky idek. They were going to send me to a different hospital from the different psych ward I was already in and I cringed.
Thanks for this!

Roll call 81

They did the renovations to this one beside it

Looks creepy as hell

I smoked my last Cuban cigar there on my last day in a spiritual way for all the horrors in the 50's

My hospital was exactly like the regular hospital wards but with locks and bars. Nothing cool

I only just got up around an hour ago. My sleep concoction should be taken in late afternoon I guess, since I always need to sleep another 7 hours after I wake up.

I wouldn't mind going to Tweaky's Palace. Sounds like a luxury getaway to me.

how do they keep people who want to be in the hospital even when they have no issues out of there if it is so nice?

24 hours in the hospital unless you're psychotic, manic or something like PTSD delirium or suicidal or want to hurt someone else.

I guess people can fake if they want to so they can get medicated on meds that they don't need for shelter and food but it's heavily funded so I don't think they care. I think it runs on like a million dollars a day or something.

If people were being turned away when they have real problems then there would be an issue.

But who knows. I met someone that wasn't schizophrenic and says that he was faking so I legit told one of the psychologists because I was pissed off.

With my roommates doing prescription opioids with needles, the psychiatrist banned them from the hospital but I told the psychiatrist that they need help because they seemed quite suicidal to me and I think he let some of them stay.

I was inpatient three times. No bars or anything but everything was locked. A lot of restrictions with what I could have in my room. And not much to do. Hopefully I've never have to go back.
Thanks for this!

Hey guys, I've had a pretty boring week. However, I had an appt with my worker from positive assets who is helping me find work, and it's given me massive motivation to start volunteering and look for a small job in a coffee shop until I get a full time career. I've emailed several mental health organisations about volunteering today so hopefully I will hear back, and I'm going to rewrite my cv aimed at a coffee shop and send it to my worker so she can evaluate it, then go round the coffee shops next week some time. I love it when I get a spurt of motivation like this. Just hope something comes out of it!
Thanks for this!

I was inpatient 3 times too. The first place was horrible I hope to never go back there. The hospital psych ward was bad but at least we could shower.

Maybe it's a telemarketer. I know they come up with crazy numbers.

Thanks, i'm sure you're right. I Googled the number and saw it's used in scams. I hope they won't kill my minutes by tying up my voice mail.

Hi everyone. Hope you are all enjoying your day.
I'm waiting to see my pnp. I hate coming here it's such a long drive but it's worth it to keep my pnp.
My daughter doesn't feel well today . It sucks that I have an appt and we can't just stay home. After this I have to bring my son to get new tires for his bike. He keeps popping them lol. He's such a maniac.

I can relate. There was a time I thought I would never ever work. I've proved myself wrong. Right now I'm working about 16 to 20 hours a week with a clockmaker. My life has definitely changed and people have noticed. It is amazing what purpose can do to one's life, especially when they enjoy what they are doing.

Repairing clocks has taught me so much about myself. I never thought I would find work that fits my strengths, interests and personality traits. Most jobs require a lot of social interaction and the use of phones, which I don't care for. My employment future felt so bleak, because most jobs appeared to be for "people persons". Now I know there are jobs out there for introverts who like to work alone or with a small group of people.

A clockmaker is an engineer, machinist, toolmaker, mechanic and artist.
