The heart jumping around is anxiety i think but im hearing a lot of voices

The new guy was over and i was talking and talking my head off. Then i got really quiet. He asked me if i was ok. I said yea. But then my brain felt foggy. Really badly. And i started to het get anxiety. So i asked him to leave because i was scared an episode was coming on. I knew this feeling all too well. Its just like my major episode 3 years ago.

After he left i guess it just hit

I had told him i was repeating words in my head.

I just did some analysis of my bullet journal keeping...and so far I've record 25 days in the last 37 days as having hallucinations of some sort. It's rather startling, but will prove to be good data to give the pdoc in a few months when we meet again.

I'm coming to terms with the idea that I may be stuck having them, at exchange for being on a low dose of APs. My wife and I were talking it over and agreed that the delusions are what we really want to prevent from happening. So if 5mg of Zyprexa is all it takes to combat that, then that's what it will be. I will work through the hallucinations in CBT.

The next question is...if this continues, and I've had psychotic symptoms like this off and on since Jan 2016, and the voices stay persistent...I wonder, does it possibly mean I could be developing some form of schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder? It's scary to think about.

I can literally feel the mucus pooling in my chest. I am so sick. It sucks and it hurts. At least I didn't fail my first psych test.

Of course. I'm a psychology major/sophomore in college looking to help people on here. I suffer from depression, OCD, and I have ADD as well. Helping people is definitely my passion and I love that I found a site where I can give people advice.

I was a psychology minor with a major in philosophy. Philosophy of mind and philosophy of psychology are mu niche. If you ever need to talk theories from the great psychologists hit me up. My favorite psychologist is William James. However, I find Nietzsche's depth psychology interesting too. He was the first to use the word sublimated before Freud.
