I don’t know how I’m doing. I thought I was fine. I don’t feel depressed. I don’t feel manic. I’m not eating right. I can’t help it. I don’t have any other vices at the moment. Just that. I don’t know... sigh sigh sigh.

Dude, not all psychiatrists are made equal. It's not paranoia. Some are more jazz than classical, and others are more well informed and conservative with medicine than others who may be pill pushing imbeciles. I'll never forget my psychiatrist asking how often I'd like to feel happy. I told him twice a day, and he scoffed saying that is a bit much to ask for. Grrr! I need a copy machine to destroy now lol I now know what an IRS agent must feel like. lol Soulless.

Then your body wont metabolize it and absorb it. It will just go straight through your body, poop!

You might feel withdrawal too, that's what Angel was feeling when she felt nauseous. I get anxiety if it's been too long.

My friend/roommate doesn't want to see Bladerunner 2049 at the theater with me even though I'd pay of course. That's lame. I know she doesn't like sci fi but that didn't stop her from liking the matrix. How does a philosophy minor NOT like sci fi? I tried talking politics with her and she got flustered too. I don't understand why people shy away from politics like it's rude to bring it up. We are social animals and the next stage of social life is political life, which makes us political animals too.

If I take my meds (both doses) at dinner time than I won’t have to worry about eating in the morning. Dinner is my only consistent meal tbh...

Maybe I’m depressed because the meds aren’t working fully because I stopped eating correctly...

Sometimes I work 12-close. The store closes at 8 but we stay 1-2 hrs afterwards to zone and clean the store

I wouldn't take both doses at once... Maybe for your morning you could have a breakfast shake and an oatmeal or a scone... I recommend a scone. If you have both doses at once you're going to experience a very sharp spike effect on your body. The good psychiatrist I have wanted me to separate my doses of Geodon to keep an even amount in my blood through out the day.

The half life of Latuda is 18 hours, which isn't horrible, but it's not 24 hours, so you might feel a bit of withdrawal right before you take your next dosage if you only take it once a day.
Thanks for this!

I talked with my doctor about this the other day. I’m on two doses (20mg each) because I was finding myself to start being hypo by the end of the half life. I was having trouble remembering to take it a couple times the last while (which might be why I’m like this now) so we discussed if I keep forgetting still I could try to see how doing 40mg once a day might work better.

I don’t really want to take it twice a day anymore especially if it’s not going to be absorbed in the morning because I’m not eating.

I can’t say numbers but I’m restricting I can’t help it I don’t want to eat in the morning.

I don’t know what to do now.

I dont eat in the morning either. Mainly cuz my anxiety and i get nauseous in the morning if i eat.

Im restrictive too. When i do eat i try to make everything as healthy as i can.

When my meds wear off at night, couple of hours before i take em i get hypo to. But not like hypo, just feeling like more energy cuz they wear off.

i am the same way, cog...
i dont eat in the morning and thats when i take my geodon (morning dose)

i mean, yeah the voices are probably loud because i am not eating right when i take the meds so they aren't working, but i feel better when i dont eat in the morning

i asked my pdoc about it but all he did was increase my geodon... :/

Roll Call 103

That's the QuickMist thingy I'm talking about. It works better than gum, patches, lozenges, etc. Maybe not a vape like Newtus said idk. But people can easily overdose on it or get violently ill. So be very careful if you do buy it! Not sure why it doesn't have warnings. But it's sooooo expensive. 40 dollars. You can buy a vape with it.

But it works for me.

On another note, Idk if I'm content with the 85% or so anhedonia I have left.

That time I legit cried 250 times in a week was like the opposite of anhedonia.

Idk if it was because of the party serotonergic stimulant I took once and then threw away. They are in phase 3 trial now for it in therapy for PTSD in the US? Idk maybe it's phase 2.

Big step in the right direction because PTSD is terrible. It basically causes psychosis and anhedonia at times and mood swings like 12AM said I'm sure. But not saying it's not schizoaffective.

Idk I'm confused about that too @ 12AM. No advice from me but a hug

Cog, you can't just eat a bowl of honey nut cheerios with a juice? All you need is 350 calories.

The earlier you start eating the earlier your metabolism wakes up and starts moving. Also, it's healthy to have more meals throughout the day, rather than just one main meal because if you just have one meal a day your body goes into starvation mode and holds on to calories making it harder to shed calories. It stores fat that way.
Thanks for this!
