aunt called me earlier about the trip i'm taking this summer. going back to my hometown for the first time in 3 years. she kept rattling on about how all of my cousins have new babies, there's a Baby Boom in the damn e***s family, and aren't they all precious? all these people who don't even know me. and the implied "when are you joining them?" why would i want to join the herd in their bottle-blonde herbalife-slinging pasture of pastor's wives? they're the ones who got born to the rich side, full rides to their dream schools, the silver fujking spoon. as if they wouldn't tear any child of mine apart like they tore me apart, like my mom was torn apart, like everyone who didn't follow the unspoken rules of living with their blood. be quiet and meek and silent and shamed and don't you ever say a word out of line. i hadn't even thought about how this would be a problem if i came back on their dime. like my brain still thinks i'm fresh out of high school and the shaming for being what they'd consider an old maid would never come. i'm only coming out there for my mom and what friends i have left there, why do they have to try to spoil that? sick sick sick sick sick

Well, we just completed the third smoke break of the day! There probably won't be one again for awhile. I made myself a bit nic sick earlier in the day. I have to admit, I still love to vape. I forgot what I was going to say. I'm afraid the doctor's office banned me because no one has brought me a new appointment reminder. I'm so upset.

join us, we have snacks and like a 3:1 vape to person ratio

It was widely used back in the 80s. My therapist got a shrink to write me a script but I came down with the flu the night I started and never really ended up trying it. But the tricyclics have a good reputation.

Yep, same region. Looks like we might not have another smoke break for a few months.

i don't know much about the place you're staying but why don't they let people vape indoors? understand taking people outside to smoke traditional cigs but in those kinds of conditions couldn't they find a well ventilated room or something so yall don't freeze?

I suspect because the smokers can't smoke inside because of the oxygen in there, they want to be fair. So they make ppl vape outside on breaks with the smokers

That ratio might just go up. I've successfully vanquished any desire for cigarettes but I might go back to vaping when I get back home.
