Its a little late but i just ordered a light therapy box from Amazon. Some reviews said it helped their insomnia which is what i have. I get like depressed every winter. I was doing so good in the fall and about November i started to go downhill. I get depressed other times too but winter is worse.

Yeah....the path in my life has been an interesting one. Its just hard to see how I will ever recover.

I know...and I would probably devastate everyone again if I did.

I told my wife and partner what is going on. They knew I was not doing well, but yeah....we will be going out to get me some help. What kind of help...not sure yet. I will talk to them some more and determine that.

Ok I’m glad you’re getting help. CBT/DBT is the best long term solution for a lot of the thoughts. Short term though sometimes you just need a safe environment or a medication change. I hope you get the help that works best for you.

I'm amazed by you. You always list lists of people and what they did - what their ideas were and the books that they wrote etc in philosophy.

My mind is scattered and I don't know anyone. I want to be less mind scattered so badly.

I think searching more into philosophy will help me with the way that I think.

I made a thread and you recommended some things but I forgot about it out of problems. I will find it.

Well writing is the only thing that gives me the will to live. It's gotten more difficult to be creative as i feel less but my mind is never really scattered.

Some of the books I'm sure i'd recommend to you are Ender's Game, You can bit torrent the audio book, actually i did with the entire series, but the first book Ender's Game has the most heart. The Graphic Novel Watchmen and Day Tripper were fantastic too. If you want to get int philosophy i recommend The Story of Philosophy by Will Durrant. And a Little History of Philosophy by Nigel Warburton which just came out.

Audiobooks are a god send to be while I work. Sometimes, when i dont feel like reading, ill just listen to them in bed with my headphones on.

Hah! I just had to change my phone plan because I only was allowed 6 gigs and I've been using a gig a day. On the 27th It will change to 50gigs a week, which Ill never use. My bill only went up a few dollars for the upgrade. These androids phone just eat of data, I'm astonished by how much it uses up compared to my Microsoft phone. I would only use 4.5gigs on that a month, and here i am using 900 mbs a day...

Newtus, how much data do you use with an apple phone?
Thanks for this!

That was nice of you. That's the kind of gift i'd like

I resorted to Spotify because the Apple app for android isn't as good as it is on An apple phone. I just need something for local storage now to listen to my lectures... I'm thinking google music. Is there some better music player for local files?
Thanks for this!
