I am so glad I've never been in a high profile job and busted for embezzling a million dollars. Just read a news story. So this guy was a former mayor and first embezzles around $500,000 from the city, and then does the same to a relative to get the money to pay back the city.

Can you imagine the panic you'd have if this was you? Yikes.

I need confidence. I get strong anxiety performing in front of others; even practice and rehearsal. I belt out my best vocals alone. I need to bring those to the stage, to the studio. Anyone have any advice to work through this? Some points I want to quit, but I came too far to give up this fight. I am sticking this out. I don't know if or when I could get a second chance at this.

I also need to get earplugs. Want my ears to remain safe. But if they get in the way of me hearing my own vocals I will get a set of studio monitors to counteract that.

Some people say they have a quiet singing voice. No. It just matters on how confident you are. Then you sing loud.
Thanks for this!

Yeah. If I am alone I project very well. I open up. When I am around people I tense up and get more quiet.

Damn it. Now I'm crying my eyes out. Texting is my mode of communication when I struggle with words in word by word conversation. I have had trouble with getting replies from my wife and partner. I don't want to burden them anymore. They already have enough stress on their own plates without me adding to it....

I find anxiety comes from a lack of control. The best thing you can do is realize you are in control of the situation.

My almost 17 year old sister is really good at it. I may ask her for pointers. My mom is trying to teach me how to do the cat eye. I'm an artist I should be able to do it lol.

Didn’t have enough hoisin to make the sauce from scratch so we took some bourbon BBQ sauce and added five spice and hoisin and stuff to make it and it was delicious.

Yeah always good to use as a reference in case you go for another job.

Doesn’t mean you can’t half *** it a little bit... lol. I know I did before on last days at old jobs.

I’ve been struggling the last couple days. I’ve felt down, I’ve felt the urge the self harm, I’ve been drinking more, and I’ve been eating more while at the same time thinking of starving myself. I’ve been on my period too which I think might be the cause. I’m just so sick of this like why can’t I be normal. Meds are supposed to make me normal. I even have been struggling to take them. I took ten minutes tonight to convince myself to take them.

I usually just set a timer...it rings, pills get taken less to think about that way....
