Just working. Have therapy tonight at 6:30 PM. Lots to talk about, since it's been like a month. Feeling pretty depressed today. Slept a lot the last four days. Can't sleep today because of work. Bleh. Oh well. Having coffee tonight with a friend. Haven't seen her for like a month I think. So it will be good to get together. I'm looking forward to that actually. Kit.

Therapist at Partial today thought i had a manic episode over the holidays and I agree.

I just want to listen to music. I want to do nothing else. I'm addicted to music. I need to wean myself off of it. It's ruining my life. I can't overdose on music because of my high tolerance. Vyvanse doesn't help. It's dopaminergic. Music is serotonergic..

Welp damn. I read pericles' funeral oration, the translation I found on Projectgutenberg.org, translated by Richard Crawley. I head it twice and it was nonsensical. It was the worst translation I might have ever came across. But that's okay, I found another translation by Thomas Hobbes who is a philosopher. He translated his the work nearly a hundred years before the Crawley translation. That's pretty crazy, and goes to show how good of a writer Hobbes is, that his translation is still flexable.

I hope I can find a good faust translation for part 2 of my work. I wish I could use George Madison Priests translation from 1932, but Knopf publisher bought the rights, and restarted it in the 1960's :-/

I get that way if my hands are idle for too many days. Even in florida, before I started to read, I was having suicidal thoughts. So I just had to find an activity, i.e. read books.

I recall SP and Newt have containers with different things that make them happy that they open when they are having some urge. My roommate does the same. She fills it with tactile stuff that consumes the senses.

SP and Newt, what do you two put in your containers?

I keep soap and bath salts that are kinda luxury items, I even had a pair of silk pjs once....anything that’s nice and appeals to each of the five senses goes in. You have to keep it updated with things like chocolate gift cards etc, that way if you want to buy something but are broke you still can. So like something for iTunes to get new music or amazon to get whatever fun thing you wouldn’t normally buy. It’s nice to have photos, that’s where I keep my photo books...it reminds me of the good times and good people I have in my life. I have some books on dinosaurs like art books and a graphic novel.....stuff that’s easy and fun.
