I cannot do yoga I’ve tried so many times. I’m just not bendy or something. Even the beginner yoga videos with the elderly using chairs is too much for me. Roll Call 142!

Aww thanks! I wish I had the chance to share my passion with more people. I guess that's what Twitter is all about. I didn't commit to philosophy until I broke up with my long term girlfriend. It was either I despair or I integrate, and I integrated with the help of philosophy. It's how I coped with my depression after that breakup.

That was when i was 26 on the verge of 27. Luckily there is a community college that was cheap enough so that I was able to experiment with different academic subjects. If you ever get bored I recommend classes at community college. Those were good times. and classes there were so cheap!
Thanks for this!

I don't think my grandma will ever pass away. She's so alert, and sharp. She has more motivation than me. She goes to bed at 9am, but can't fall asleep until 3am, and then wakes up at 6 or 7. How is that possible?

She's the typical grandmother though, taught me military corners with my bed sheets every morning after I wake. She's so strong willed. She's awesome.

I never met my grandparents on my moms side because they died before I was born. They were young, they both died around the time my mom was maybe 17 or 18. I think and she had to take care of her younger brother. My mom was the oldest person living on that side when she died @61 years old. I wish I met them though, from what I've heard they were really cool. I've seen pics of them together and they looked awesome in a picture from the 40's with my grandfather wearing a stylish suit and my grandmother was really pretty and wearing a nice dress, they were out on a picnic. He was an immigrant and came over to Ellis island here in NY from Italy.

As for my fathers side, he wasn't in my life at all. I have him on Facebook and my "grandmother" from that side but I don't consider any of them family.

Sorry you weren’t able to meet them.

I kind of feel that way about my dads side. He was in my life but as soon as the divorce was final the rest of them forgot we existed. My grand monster died a couple yrs ago. I never knew my real grandfather...he killed himself around the time my sister was born.
Now that I’m an adult my aunt has reached out on Facebook and we tried to semi connect after my dad died but for me it’s a little too late.
Strangely enough I’m cool with my uncle that I rarely speak to. I guess I forgive a man for being callous with children over a woman.

i was young and confused and not so confused to why my grandmother sold the green stuff lol. didn't think much of it. just something for grown ups and to never do (but i do anyways)

I have such awesome friends...most of the time.
One of the group’s husband was recently deployed. She has a chronic illness I can’t remember the name of and 2 little ones. Her husband is basically the primary caregiver for all of them. So she’s struggling.
Anyway, in the last 2 hrs they have started a “food train” and already have enough meals to cover the next 2 wks.

When I was struggling they sent me all kinds of things for pick me ups. The day I came home from the hospital there was a huge basket of Tastefully Simple stuff waiting for me.

They really truly do mean well and I love them dearly. Unfortunately, the mob mentality is toxic to me so I have to keep my distance.

I thoroughly enjoyed school when I went. It was a community college so as you said it was affordable. I was good at it too!
Got blinded by quick $$ and benefits and disenfranchised with beginning nursing school so I dropped out. By that point I was in the program and had to choose between full time work and full time school.
I toy with the idea of taking classes again...we’ll see what the future holds.

I got into bed and hallucinated my thoughts meditatively for 15 minutes, went unconscious for 5 minutes and now I don't feel as tired.

But I'm drained mentally. Don't feel like doing anything.

That's awesome valley.
What do you think some of the keys to developing and maintaining good friendships are?
I never have any friends (besides my wife, whom i truly believe loves me) so the friendships of others really baffle me.

So I fell asleep around midnight last night which is better than I’ve been doing recently then some bloody noise in the building wakes me up twice starting at 3am and I never really got restful sleep.
