So jumpy today, my neighbor said hi, I didn't see him and jumped, then when walking back from the store earlier a cop car drove by and then all the sudden put their sirens on and I jumped then too

Hey everyone, I drove to the walking park this morning and got in a walk before work. I went last night too but for some reason the fitbit didn't count last night's walk as exercise, but it counted today's. Weird. I'm so tired though. Walking is supposed to be energizing but it just makes me tired. I'm trying to not drink soda pop today. We'll see how that goes. Trying to just drink unsweetened iced tea and water. My sister gave up soda so I'm going to see if I can. Therapy office called to remind me of my appointment on Monday. Not ready but I told them I would be there. HUGS everyone, Kit

Volunteering is great, even if it's not a long term position there's many places that take volunteers now and then, here there's the salvation army and this other place where you can just sign up if any day you want to help serve a community meal I've volunteered twice, once at an organization to serve a community meal as part of a service learning project and and one time at a local church's Italian festa. Feels good to help and gets you out of the house, and experience working

I'm starting to wonder if my life is pointless. it's like one long never ended day with anxiety that's just broken up by a couple hours of sleep every 24 hours or so. Im wondering if it's even real

It will be better once you’re back in school again or maybe if you work or volunteer.....

Ketamine rebuilds connections between neurons lost during stress / Boing Boing

So interesting ketamine allows reconnection of broken neural pathways.....

Yeah, I'm hoping to hear something from my case manager soon about the supportive employment services I'm signed up for.

I miss school too. I hate not having goals or things to complete. As stressful as it could be sometimes it gave my life some purpose

I could try that. I used to use Khan Academy, there's a lot of interesting stuff/courses to learn for free, just to give me some kind of goal of things to do

This might work on me then. I wonder which neural pathways it can connect.

It said it was the ones broken by stress I didn’t read the original article though just the excerpt.
