Like there's cognitive issues with processing too much information at once and getting overwhelmed

I'm pretty sure falcon went inpatient.

I think I read something about this in a book about schizophrenia I have. Like caregivers and partners of people with this illness should give simpler instructions when they tell them to the person, like instead of making a long statement like " go to the store buy coffee and stop by this place on your way back then do this thing" etc they should just break it down into simpler straightforward statements one at a time.

Fiance got mad at me this morning. Very angry. I let xena out of the kennel and outside to pee, and then let her back in to roam. I fell asleep and she tore up many things. Like a pillow to shreds. There were feathers everywhere. Fiance was extremely mad.

This is an example of how my mental illness causes confusion with everyday things. I was confused cuz he tells me if I'm the first one up, to let her out of the kennel. So I did. But then he told me if I'm going to sleep I need to put her back in. I understand. I got confused.

Confusion happens to me a lot. I seem to miss or not understand certain things. A lot of them simple to most everyone. But when I'm told to do something and I'm told a lot of little details, I get confused.

I seem to only be able to understand something with a couple or few instructions to them. Things with multiple instructions given to me causes me major confusion.

Do you think your confusion is form a med?


I tried Risperdal and I was clueless. I thought it was from stress that I couldn't follow a sentence, but it was the Risperdal I believe. Certain meds mess with certain receptors that can nearly eliminate your short term memory. Memory is one of the most important functions we have as human beings. It dictates so much, it even dictates our reading comprehension. My memory right now isn't well with Seroquel because of the receptors it works on and also because im upping my Trileptal. Tomorrow Im going upwards to 1800mgs, and it took me a solid 5 seconds to remember this med to type it.

I just slept 6 and a half hours today. Ugh. Idk why. I was up in the middle of the night but only 3 hours. Which is shorter than I am usually up for, in the middle of the night.

Idk I went to my pdoc appt and went to buy shoes this morning. I came home and ate. And i felt so tired. I thought I'd only nap an hour or two at most.

I did take 1 gabapentin but I never seem to fall asleep with it. And some days I take 2 and still dont fall asleep. So idk.

I dont think I'm depressed, I think. I have been really worried about the job tho. It's starting to hit me. That I'm hired for it. I'm doubting myself. Not my ability to do it work wise, but energy wise. And today doesnt make me feel anymore confident about it...
