Remind me next time I think of no meds how awful I feel without them. I feel so much better now on them. Even one day makes a difference.

I would but I don't have a dye kit, but I am going to that Easter egg paint off thing in the community room tomorrow so I'll still get to dye some eggs

I'm going to do intermittent fasting. 18:6. Maybe I'm doing it for the wrong reasons. I don't really eat much in the morning anyway. Anyway, I need to lose weight. Still not going to weigh myself and I'm going to try not to count calories.

This is a good alternative to

Possible trigger:

Very healthy + you get to eat as much as you want for 8

Many benefits (Google knows).. It's almost like how we used to eat - Just hunting, gathering nuts and berries etc... Make it healthy during the 8 hours too though - Loving self and it's taking good care with patience.

Don't obsess! You have 30-50+ years to live. It all doesn't have to all be done in one day.. Give yourself a year or more and slowly implement the diet change - Not one day and then failure.. You will fail a few times but no sweat, just try again next day - Once you get the hang of it, you can count calories in a mindful way..

Exercise, meditation, meds, study, socializing + Lots of breaks and mind candy time (Vegging out to TV, YouTube rabbit hole, games).

We've been the same people for 10k+ years - The only thing that has changed is technology.. If you look at what processed food and forcing religion, laws on native hunter gatherers all around the world, they used to be thin and ripped - Now they give coca cola to their babies in the morning.. Coca Cola ends up in every place in the world but not water?... errr they have diabetes, heart disease, etc...

You'll do good ^-; I was the king of reckless behaviour so if I can control self, you can too =] Life is great.. It can be once you get the right insight.. Some people are toxic and don't want to help or they put people down.. Compassion for others around you (Not the whole world - Cuz it's too big and macrocosmed) and yourself.. peace, tranquility, love, laugh life etc... It's all lovely funny things.

Yeah since my mom is trying to lose weight we’re just eating healthier in general. Got a lot of vegetables from the store the other day.

So it’s going to be good. I’ll be good. Eat healthy and don’t feel guilty about eating.

I can do it.

Nick got pleurisy. Thankfully no blood clot or problem with lungs or heart or anything. They gave him meds, haven’t decided whether to keep him there or send him home

Gonna bring my computer and everything into the living room.. I love sitting there..

I really need an aesthetic place to do things that isn't my room. I see people showing me pictures of their "set ups" and I'm just like.. aaaaaaaahhhhhheee

I took an extra 5mg olanzepine cuz I'm feeling a little dissociation/cognitive impairment. I only took one 5mg evening Dexedrine today. Tomorrow I'll take two at 4-5pm.

Been reading the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy. If you guys have the time, I recommend reading some stuff in it for sure. Or the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy. SEP is more advanced than the IEP. But both are cool.

I have a couple things there bookmarked I need to find the time and focus to read them. Philosophy of math is the one I’m most interested in.

I feel like my apartment is a mess. I'm stressing out about it. My sister is gonna stop by for a little bit before she takes me to her house Saturday. I hope she doesn't think my apartment looks bad. I'm trying to get on top of cleaning, it's just hard sometimes

Is there a way of rephrasing that so it's not so unkind to yourself?

I sometimes feel like a failure, too.

I understand where you're coming from.

One time I read a book on optimism.

It said that if we make explanations to ourselves that we are always a failure or whatever, something like that, then we'll be more pessimistic. Not trying to imply that you're a pessimist. Generally, I feel like you're optimistic. So maybe just a bad day or night?

Also there's a point in that book on optimism (and I don't personally know if I agree with this) that says you should explain things that are positive by saying that they are permanently that way (I hope this stuff makes at least a grain of sense).

It's all very good in theory. I would say naturally I am a bit of a pessimist, but that's probably because I'm somewhat rationally-minded. I don't know. Hopefully some of what I said helped.

Thank you, that is helpful.

I just feel like I can't even stay on top of basic things like cleaning, brushing my teeth, showering, etc. I don't know what my problem is. Also, I'm not in college at the moment, so I feel like a failure with that, I won't be able to start again until the fall.

Yeah right now I'll tell you I feel like a failure for needing an IOP program. I mean honestly I didn't think I needed it but now three mental health professionals have told me I should do it. And I decided to do it.

But the reality is, as my psychiatrist said today at our meeting together, that sometimes people need more help and I can't expect myself to be doing 100% all the time - since that is unrealistic. It's tough for me to accept, but it's realistic.

That sounds so fun! I used to use the colors in regular easter paints and only managed to get them one solid color, half and half, etc. They were pretty but the glitter sounds fantastic! Don't get glitter in your mouth though.
