does psychosis progress over time without treatment?

From a personal standpoint, I do believe that psychosis does progress without treatment. Everyone is different but it's been my experience with the condition.

I'd love to keep discussing this topic and hear other's opinions.

part of me is observing me every minute of the day.
she controls the switch but she wont give mercy.
she is spiteful because i am free. she watches me un moved by my terror.
part of me is devious.
the two co-exist.
as the observer moves toward the switch, as she is now, thoughts become hazy.
she is watching me now, giving away my secrets. in a matter of moments my mind will be lost in space.
writing is difficult in a trance... in a comatose like gaze.
she is an absence of self without a body or a mind.

this is a lonely road to walk down.
no sympathy .. only fear, lack of understanding and restraints.
just kill me now and get this over with.

When there is so much knowledge about what went wrong with your mind and spirit there seems so little else to say. Don't fight this battle alone, let someone know what is happening! Let them steer the ship for once. I am not an expert, but I believe you know exactly what to do, but it doesn't seem logical right now. So ask a professional what he/she knows about the arguement of two selves and how they can co-exist. That realy is all you realy want, right? I feel frightened sometimes. Like I am watching my body from a little bit behind myself. Like someone else is in control. And I don't like it. I don't like what they do or say. I don't like it at all. I prefer not to know, but sometimes I am just kind of stuck there.

Things can be so hard at times.

Are you seeing somebody? A t or a p-doc who you can talk to about what is going on for you?

I can completely understand your being frightened. That would be a very frightening experience, to feel that you've lost control of your own body and I do understand that and can relate to it, and I didn't like it much either.

Sometimes it can be very difficult to deal with. Have you seen a pdoc???? Please come back and share with us. I want to welcome you here because I don't think I've had the pleasure of meeting you before.

i KNOW it is separate from me....
i KNOW it IS me.....
its a strange dual struggle of two minds, perhaps the term "bipolar" has more facets to it...not only to describe a split in moods, but a split inside the mind..... and moods ARE the mind right? so it must be natural for someone who is bipolar and has keen senses and a sharp reaction to anything obtrusive, to be able to actually reverse the visual field inward and SEE the two of myself.
why does she think i cant see her?
SHE is the one who is blind.... she is the one who needs to become aware as i am of her.
