I found something that is akin to meditation. At work we have coloring books with the art of Sue Coccia. In case you haven't heard of her she does pictures of animals and inside the shape of the animals there are a myriad of other animals and shapes. The pictures are quite intricate. So as a coloring book it is easy to fall into the picture and forget about the world around you as you are trying to fill in a raindrop or a tiny mouse or the eyes of the bear. After my doctor's appointment I am going to get myself a new set of gel pens, I am borrowing my daugher's right now. I am going to get an awesome set with all the colors. It is going to be expensive but I need a treat since I have been so miserable the last couple of days.
