Mainly it has been my girlfriend. She moved in at the end of June which prompted me to get rid of my blades. When I am struggling and getting strong urges she distracts me and does what she can to help. This has also included not leting me out of her sight when it had been really bad.
Beyond what she has done physically, she gives me a reason and purpose not to. I have a reason to live and get better now and I haven’t had this for a very long time.

It has been 1 year, and 17 days since I last SHed It was the same day my grandpa passed away. I use the CleanTime Counter app on my phone to help me keep going and I also utilize the 12 step program as well. Last time I had a really really bad urge, I talked to a friend of mine who helped distract me.
