I’m at 44 days. The longest I made it before this was 30 days. It’s all I think about though and I worry I’ll relapse.
Thanks for this!

Congratulations watermelonrind! You are doing so well!

You are very concerned though about a relapse. What do you think that a relapse would say about you?

It’s been about two weeks but I’ve really been struggling and wanting to do it this last week. I’m sure I’ll give in before long, but today I should be ok.

That I will have failed myself. I’ve come so far these past few months, I don’t want to lose the progress I’ve made.

Well done whisperingskye!

Good job, too, to be thinking of one day at a time!
Thanks for this!

You made great progress by going from 30 days to 44 days. You cannot lose that 44 days, no matter what happens. I mean, if you relapse, you will still know that you did 44 days! No one can take that away from you.

You would feel bad about a relapse, but you could then start another long run.

Yes you have! Even if you have a relapse you are in a better place than you were before these last few months. You have months of good experience under your belt that you did not have before! You will be able to draw on that strength and experience from now on.

297 days. Trying to make it to at least a year... still seems so far away.

Congratulations Under*Over!

Thank you so much for bringing hope through your own experience. What did you find helped you stay away from SI when things got rough?

I've been wanting to hurt myself pretty badly for about a month now. It's been a couple of months since the last time. I'm very stressed out about medical issues right now, and I'm starting to really hate my body. The only thing holding me back is that we have no bandaids, so I have no way of covering it up to heal. It's silly, but it's been frustratingly effective.

51 days is excellent, watermelonrind! You are upset with yourself now for the lapse, but no one can take away your 51 days! And now you can start another long run.

I think it was about three weeks. It just got too much to ignore.

About 3 or 4 days... can't remember exactly but can look it up in a journal later. Have been IP 14th thru 24th, but was banging my head in there.

5 days ! Which is nicely surprising, since I had a big big panic attack today, and I usually use self-harm to cope with my anxiety issues.. But today I did not hurt myself, even though things were tough XD
