i think i might have gid ive crossdresed from a early age and well i always feel happyer when im thinkin of myself as a women and when i stop crossdressing i start to feel empty inside but i am lost right now i dont know if i do have gid or what and if i do what i can do about it i mean like how can i tell anyone like my family or friends can anyone give me advice

Just my opinion...but the most important thing is getting to where you are comfortable with who you are, not changing yourself to make others comfortable.

It can be hard confiding this kind of feeling to friends and family. Unfortunately, some people aren't good at handling it.

Do you think you could get to an open-minded and non-judgmental therapist or psychiatrist to discuss your feelings? I don't want to create any mistrust in your friends and family, but sometimes a professional is the safest person to talk to first.

Someone close to me was a crossdresser. I don't know that he ever came to accept it himself, and I wish he had. Good luck.

Pat yourself on the back for being brave enough to share this information with us here at PC.

I would suggest that you try looking for a forum that deals with other people that have come out or that are coming about with their cross dressing.

Hey hun. i have GID. i'm an FTM. it is absolutely scary to come to terms with an even scarier to come out ( i haven't told my family yet) there are many varying degress of transgenders... crossdressers, androgynes, transexuals, transgenderists, bigendered, and ppl who just haven't figured it out. if you'd like the info for a website that might be helpful send me a messege and i'll give you the link.
