OMG....I slept like a baby last night....I could not move my hands even.....I think the food that I had was like a sleeping pill, that's why I want to share with you my experience.....
last night, I made a Salmon with garlic and ginger at the top and I had a small glass of white wine....and then I had small Vanila flavored yogurt and I finished it off with Camomile's tea!!!!
I usually have a little bit of wine, so I'm sure that was not the cause of sleep....probably combination of all these food together made me so relaxed....
I wish I could get good night sleep every night....

Was it fresh ginger root? Chamomile tea is known for it's relaxation properties. I love ginger - it great for nausea and is a natural anti-inflammatory agent - good for the stomach, sore throat and cough. I think you're right it was a combination of them all. Sounds like a great dinner - yummy.

Sounds like it was your time for a great sleep :-) I've been experimenting with my good sleep nights, trying to replicate them so I know what will work most often. It's really hard with so many variables. Glad you seem to have found a routine that may work for you! Guess you'll be eating a lot of salmon with garlic and ginger? LOL. I'll have to try that.

LOL...you are funny Perna....no, I don't eat so much salmon, I think it's not good even to have it very much because of the mercury stuff....

honesty, I think garlic and ginger will lower down the blood pressure...that's why it made me sleepy....

I had enough of insomnia and sleeping pills...some of over counter sleeping pills were just put me on sleep, but next day I felt exhausted and tired...hate them all....I used to take "Advil" and "Tylenol" sleeping pills over night...gosh...they are brutal!

I'm so grateful for a night of good sleep....I know how horrible is not being able to sleep!

that sounds like a really tasty dinner. having calcium before bed is supposed to help one sleep so the yogurt probably helped out too. lately, i've been doing progressive muscle relaxation and that has been helping me some.
