I actually wanted to get out of the house and exercise today! And I did!! Plus I spent some quality time with my husband AND did a favor for a friend in the hospital!! I tend to isolate and vegetate so this was a good day for me!
Thanks for this!

(((( Payne))))) I am sorry you were in a "bad car wreck" a couple of weeks ago. I admire your strength to drive even though its frighting. Great strength !!

Today I went to fill my water jugs at the health food store. They have a water machine there. Then I went to get some sesame oil at the Asian Market. I confirmed plans for tomorrow to do something important for myself. I tried to wake up a bit earlier today. Am trying to change that pattern. But its not easy since there is not much to wake up for. And I no longer can have coffee or fruity tea.
Thanks for this!

I didn't get a chance to do much today since I was so tired from my new medications.

I got up early and went to my little neighbor girl's birthday party at Build a Bear and acted like a little kid with the girls. It was a lot of fun, and I had a ball knowing that they had a fun grownup (?? ME!?!?!) in their group. I had fun doing the Building of the Bear, but I was quickly getting tired from only getting 2 hours of sleep.

Note: I work nights, so it's hard for me to change sleep schedules.

I came back home and went back to bed for a bit before work. Tonight, when I get home, I'm cleaning the kitchen and the breakfast nook. Shouldn't take more than an hour. I just hate how that kitchen table becomes a catch-all!! All three in my house are bad for that!

I was a total slacker today. We had a lot of rain in my area, and thunderstorms are so relaxing to me... so I slept in. A lot. LOL!!! I got up at 3, and had to leave work by 3:30... so I didn't do anything today, yet.

I take that back.. I made a really good coffee drink for myself. That makes me a bit happy, but not as happy as I would have been if I would have gotten that load of laundry in the washer and the dishes put in the dishwasher.

Meh. There's always time tonight after work!

As always, thank you ((((((Sundog)))))Today I cut down some of the flowering plants in my garden in preperation for winter. I wanted to do much more because we will have one day of nice warmish weather to do that. But I got a very late start because I couldnt get out of bed. kept falling back to sleep. I cant say I did anything else of great importance today. Although I was polite and congenial to my condo association president today which is great Considering she traps bunnies in the condo complex and brings them to be killed. She likes to have control over nature. She is not mean. Just very disconnected. So I found compassion for her even though she cannot find a way to have compassion and love for all of nature.

Wow Sunset! I just couldn't be nice to a person who kills animals like that. It's just the type of person I am... so you are SUCH a strong person!!!!

It's amazing you were able to show compassion to your condo assoc. Pres (((((((sunsetsunrise)))))))) As MMOS said, I don't think I could have done that!!!!!! You chose a perfect word to describe her though: disconnected. It's really great you have so much compassion for people

Glad you had a good, long sleep ((((((MMOS))))))) That's really important!

I don't feel as if I have achieved much today, but it's only 3.30 pm here so there is still time!!!!!

I managed to stay up and out of bed... even though every fiber of my body was screaming GO BACK TO BED!!!
And I resisted the very strong urge to call my husband and say "get your butt home now!"

I took Caleb with me on my errands today... left early so I could go exchange my iPhone for still another refurbished one (4th in 6 months) but had to settle with an afternoon appointment at the genius bar in another place, and then I went to Physical terrorist er um therapist and then to the pain/stress management doctor and then to the genius bar where I listened intently as he tried to explain that it was my DATA I was inputting (telephone numbers and notes???) that was corrupting the battery and then Caleb and I shared a milk shake on the way home in the rain. Big day, long day, fatiguing day.

Maybe next time I will be able to go to the movies and eat popcorn (jaw won't let me chew anything so far this week.)

((((((beadlady)))))

Today and yesterday I dealt with a couple of things right away, instead of procrastinating. They were just small things, but they were the type of things that I would typically not take care of right away and then I would worry about them and feel guilty for not taking care of them. It really does feel much better to take care of this stuff immediately, even if I don't initially want to!!

Hmmm I took a lady to her Bible study, and lunch afterwards. I also confronted the pastor who was teaching something that his own faith does not believe! Hate it when that happens.

I went on a long hike with my dogs this afternoon and it helped me get out of the funk I've been in. Not completely, but somewhat!

This is a great thread.
I went to class this morning even though I really wanted to go back to sleep and not face anyone and I felt better once I did.

Sundog, as always thank you !!!
First, I breathed. Yes, that was right. Could I breathe better? Yes I think I could. However I did breathe !!! I got out of bed. I got dressed. I did some transcribing that I wanted to get done. Its a fairly long project. I went to say goodbye to a young woman I know who is moving away. And I spent time with my wonderful chidlren who are amazing and so light filled !!!!!

Good for you ((JD)). Well I did respond to bullying but it feels unsettling.

I got out of bed finally. I did not overtly react to being over looked and ignored yet again. It was difficult. But I did it. Thats really doing something right. I did 5 minutes of cleaning up in the yard. Okay, heres the beauty of this thread. I will be leaving the computer now and doing 5 minutes of cleaning up in the yard before its pitch dark outside. I would not have done this if I had not tried to think of something I did right, and not come up with anything substantial. thank you again Sundog

Lately I have been trying to just let the house be a little bit. It used to be if I didn't keep it orderly, I was sure it said something about me as a person. I didn't always keep it clean but when it did get messy, it meant I wasn't a whole person, I was wrong and bad in some way. (Oddly it never applies to anyone else, just to me). My mom hated clutter, I think that's where I get the idea it's bad.
So here I am. One with my clutter, and I'm OK.
Instead, I went to Sears and bought a new sweater for fall and walked around the mall for exercise. Then I made rice in the rice cooker.
