I went out with my husband to our friends' house for supper and for some reason I was anxious about going and didn't really want to go. But I went anyway and I really enjoyed it!!

I sat myself down and went back into the GL Loading healthy way to eat book and began to plan how I will continue to eat. Forget the costly scam diets! I have 3 months to lower my triglyceride levels before MD runs labs again. They only went up because of the scam diet I tried (and paid dearly for ) grrrrrr. Today, I went back onto the right path!

I de-activated my Facebook accounts. For several different reasons, this really feels like the right thing for me to do right now.

((( JD )))) sorry you fell prey to one of those scam diets. I have been on coountless diets in my life. Now I eat no sugar, wheat and numerous other foods.

Sundog, glad you deactivated fb accounts. I love my pet in petville way much too much to do that. My heart smiles when I see her. Shes intensely cute. Her name is Trouble. And thats her personality.

Today I finally got the step ladder and went up above my kitchen cabinets to get rid of the muck and stuff there. I also cleaned the decorative copper pan..... with catsup. I didnt have any copper cleaner. And I cleaned other decorative ceramic things that are above my cabinets. I took out the trash for pick up tomorrow. I tried to be helpful to people. And I did not lose my temper with the cable tech person when my phone went out, yet again when the internet went out. I tried to remember to notice that today was a good day. And there are many wonderful things around.
As always, thank you Sundog for this thread !!!!!

Last night, I made some pan seared pork chops with the new Apple-flavored Stove Top (YUMMY!!!) and I made enough for leftovers for lunches today for everyone in the house. I also made extra chicken noodle soup since our nights are in the low thirties now...

And since my hubs is sick with a pretty bad sinus infection and chest cold, I made him some hot oatmeal for breakfast and a big pot of coffee for him to drink on to soothe his throat. (Because I'm nice like that! LOL!!)

Now, fingers crossed that he magically reads my mind and cleans the family room and does some laundry! LOL!!!!

Today I got dressed and drove a few miles in the car to pick up some suppliments.
I breathed and walked fairly correctly. I tried to help people.
I took down from their perch above the cabinets more brass and copper things which I cleaned and polished.
I tried to clean the kitchen in a better way than normal.
I wrote a letter to someone who would not believe my words about something. Sometimes stating something in a very kind and respectful way, in a letter is appropriate. Especailly when it was my homeopathic pdoc who would not believe me, when I admitted to her that I am in fact mostly agoraphobic. What she believes after reading the letter is no business of mine. My truth can be discounted, but it cannot change what is. And I am tired of hiding this truth in shame. So there !!

That's great everyone!!

I made some phone calls today that I'd been procrastinating about. I hate using the phone!! As is often the case though, thinking about it is worse than doing it and it went fine!!!! I don't know why I build these things up in my head like this when really, so much of the time, it's no big deal when it comes down to it!!!!

I planned my diet for the rest of the week. I'm tired of being stuck in my weight plateau, and I planned my new diet using Slim Fast. I've got a lot of friends who have had success doing it, so I'm at least going to give it a try!

I went to rehearsals..tap went pretty well tonight, it's getting easier and easier, now if I could only smile while doing it lol. Oh and I helped the neighbors catch their escaped dogs.

Cleaned up a 2 day mess in my kitchen.

Gathered up the trash, but didn't get it out in time for the pick-up.

Guess they will just have 'old trash' next week

Last night before I went to bed I cleaned the kitchen. Husband and I had come home from work late. He cooked a nice supper but made a big mess in the kitchen in the process!! I was tired and just wanted to to got to bed afterwards but knew it would be horrible coming down to a bombsite of a kitchen the next morning. So I cleaned it!!!

I'm sorry, but I just wanted to post a quick unrelated message and say how much it has helped me to be able come here and focus on what I have done right (instead of always focusing on how I have messed up) and how encouraging it is to read about everyone else's accomplishments, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem... they matter!

So... my hat is off to you, sundog for creating this fantastic thread!

Great thread Sundog...kudos!!! Well...I work with someone whom I thought was a very close friend. A couple months ago I learned much different. It has been causing a lot of stress to me. I am trying my best to forgive her and not be friends anymore...but also not have resentment. Well..there I found a page full of "daily inspirations" and printed them off for all of my coworkers...including her. It is the first step to try and let things go....

Thank you Sundog.. I love coming here and focusing on the positive things that I'm doing and reading about everyone else's positive activities. It's amazing how something that would seem so small to other people means so much to us. Yay us!

Yes, I agree with people. Thank you ((((Sundog))) for this thread where for a moment in time I have to think of what I did right today. Especially on those days when I do not think I did anything at all.

Today I had to go downtown to help a woman whose office room was water damaged. Four of us helped her. It was planned a week ago. I was dreading it. Because I tend to stand in a daze not knowing what to do. But I was able to figure out a way to be useful during the entire time. I drove there and back safely. I navagated through the grocery store. I did many other things right, such as vacuming !!!!!!! What an event for me. Thanks everyone for your posts. I enjoy reading each and every one of them.
Thanks for this!

I had lunch with my mom. I went to therapy and was honest (and had done my homework and remembered to bring it!). I worked in my garden. I went to rehearsals and was positive. Then I checked my facebook and found this amusing gem:

guy on my facebook: My wife is the most beautiful woman in the world and I will dedicate my entire life to buying her all of the shoes she desires.

In the comments section: As soon as she stops hijacking my phone to create Facebook status updates.

I vacumed and cleaned a bit. I protected myself from some control energy, as best I could. I remembered to pay my auto insurance. I almost completely forgot to mail in the money which is due on the 14th, whew. I attempted to add some light into the world. I called someone who is ill and going through chemo and radiation treatment. Offered to help with anything at all.
