Well done for coming here!! ((((((((Crew)))))))) And well done for keeping your mouth shut!!!! ((((((((Racee))))))))) That is a huge accomplishment!!

Today I accepted an invitation to go round to a friends' house for a potluck on Saturday evening. I was originally going to say no because we're working this weekend and I thought it would be too tiring to go out on Saturday night (plus I'm kind of anti-social and often say no to things!!) But today I said yes instead!!!

Good job(s) everyone. Oh it is sometimes so hard to keep ones mouth shut!

Jack did fine when I left him for my eye appt in the house. He was really a happy boy to see me a few hours later! I did come baring/bearing/ bringing gifts though.

I stopped at Petsmart on my way back home because they had all the Kong products 20% off. I filled it with a treat and then puppy canned food. He needs extra calories right now to gain some weight. He was smiling! (I think)

My do right was a good eye pressure check - have glucoma in one eye...Yeah!

Today I tried to stop using coffee creamer. ykes, what chemicals !!! I started using it a few weeks ago. I have to stop tomorrow. I cut some fabric to make another christmas tree ornament. I make them to give as gifts for christmas. they are very beautiful, if i do say so myself. I surrounded myself with light. Although just between you and I, I should have done it more. ( now dont shout that from any rooftops, okay?) I know that I will do this again before I go to sleep. I really must. I am thinking of downloading, again, the "mindfulness clock". Set it to ring every 20 minutes. When I does, I can stop whatever I am doing and spend a few moments surrounding myself with light. ADD keeps me from meditating for any length of time.

What a beautiful post! So happy that you are surrounding yourself with light. Not to mention beautiful Christmas ornaments of your own making!! ((((((Sunsetsunrise))))))

I'm off to google "mindfulness clock" now!!!

I finally saw my psychiatric nurse and got my meds back. I had rescheduled with her a lot and was denied refills. Now I have all my meds back. and feel like I am regaining my sanity.

Good going!!

I got my hair cut which made me feel a bit better. And I spent the evening with friends even though I really didn't want to go because I was feeling particularly depressed today, but I ended up enjoying it and feeling better afterwards

okayyyyyy well I do have to think about this. First, I am very glad that the crew held on to their hat today. Its never a good thing to see a perfectly fine hat fly away in the wind.

Sundog, I am so glad that you were feeling better after you spent time with friends.
And yay Lauren. Back on meds and regaining sanity.

Today I woke up. yay. I tried to encourage someone to not give up hope. I surrounded myself with light which is not easy for me to do without someone doing it with me. I am so bad at doing things for myself.

I think we all have seen or heard of the parents who cheered when a kid peed in the potty. Or they cheered gleefully when they colored a picture or said a complete sentence. I think that we should treat adults the same way. I think it would be nice to cheer for people just because they peed or said a complete sentence.
so, Good job everyone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( clapping my hands) you rock

I went to my friends house and helped her fix her furnance. Now she has heat. She couldn't do it alone so I feel I did something right by going to help her.

Wow, what a question!
I am so used to thinking what I did wrong.

What I did right today was... everything I think of seems so unimportant.
I will try again another day.

I made it through the show without bursting into tears.. one of our theatre family members passed away yesterday, we got confirmation today. I went out of my way to be extra nice to everyone during our time of grief.

I made it through my morning run (only 3 miles since my hip is bothering me) and I shoveled out my driveway.

I took Jackie Boy for a very short walk. Baby, it's cold outside.

Sleeping way too much lately. So I'm going to push myself hard today to get a few do rights done today.

((((HUGS)))) to all you "do writers" LOL

Well done everyone!!!!!! (((((((((Gently))))))))) It doesn't matter how small the do-right is! Getting out of bed, for example, most definitely counts!!!!!

I got into work this morning and, before I did anything else (for example, logging on here!!!!) I immediately took care of some pesky tasks that I've been really procrastinating about. It felt really good to get them out of the way right at the start of the work day!

(((( kitty)))) I am so sorry that one of your theatre family members passed away. My heart is sending you a hug.
thanks everyone for putting your words here to inspire me.
Today even though it was bitter cold out I managed to go to the bank, mail a package to Canada, Go to the fabric store, go to the grocery store and to the cable office to pay a bill. I was very grateful to get home. I just have been working on making christmas ornaments. it takes about an hour and a half to make each one.
I also "ran my energy" tonight for a little bit. That makes me feel lots of light and energy going through me. now I am going to go and park myself in front of the space heater. Because another thing I am trying to do right is to not have heat on the top floor of my home. To just use a space heater to try to save on heating bills. so, gotta run fast to get to that heater, and the hot water bottle
Thanks for this!

Morningcalm, you have some of the words to the song "somewhere over the rainbow" as your signiture. thats my all time favorite song. We all look to get home... which I think is always in our heart, Dorothy.

I bought some more groceries some for making Christmas cookies. H is having surgery tomorrow morning so we will just hang here tonight.

I had my annual eye check today, for my vision and am now wearing contact lenses! Haven't worn them in 20 years. Had to get some "readers" so I could see up close. I'll get my new glasses later. Can't wait until I can were them all day and night and wake up being able to see in the morning. or watch TV without the bifocal getting in the way! I'm excited about my contacts

Yes, the home is where the heart is.

It's nice to hear from someone who also loves this song. Thanks.

Well done everyone!!! You guys are amazingly productive!!!!!!

Today I got my act together and figured out how to calculate the postage to send a Christmas present to my Mum in England and I was able to complete and print the postage paperwork directly from the USPS website. It definitely beat standing in a long line at the post office!

i got a lipton iced tea out of the fridge instead of a soda. and convinced my boyfriends mom to ask her doctor for a referral for a therapist. i think it will be very beneficial for her. she confided in me that she has had several feelings of suicide. i was not very surprised though, considering how she lives her life. i can sadly see myself in her. but i guess i did something right in order for her to confide such deep secrets to me.
