Worked a bit experimenting with techniques for a workshop I'm giving. Had 30 min. phone social time with a friend. Walked with Sherman along the river and fields, listening to Aretha Franklin and Nat King Cole. Took trash and recyclables to recyc. ctr. Took another walk alone to de-stress.
Thanks for this!

Completed the draft of an agreement and sent it out. Stayed on my low carb diet by eating more veggies at every meal.

I made it to therapy, where I discussed the discrimination presently going on at work, where I adopted a better attitude at how extremely boring my new job will most likely be, where I got a better feel for reality as it is, discussed the book my T recommended, Wherever You Go There You Are, and felt understood and cared for by my wise and thoughtful therapist

Took myself out to lunch at a cheap place right near therapy, made a banana, milk and honey blended drink, helped my friend Rob set up his facebook account, talked to my friends Melanie and Susan, hugged my boyfriend for a long time and generally felt good about life, about my recovery, and about beginning my new jobby job next week!!!!

Did the very tedious task of testing software bugs and detailing product requirements. Not my favorite thing to do because it's a very lonely task that requires a high level of concentration that after a poor night's sleep I find challenging. I have "pushed" myself to do the task and am close to getting it done but am going to take a break now.

Even though I've had a horrendous week... horrendous - is that a word?... anyway, with breaking my ankle, sick kids, sick dog, up all night, I still got up early and got us all to school for my son's IEP meeting. (Individualized Educational Plan - for special needs). I got through the meeting, took notes, asked questions, stated my opinions and didn't let them bully me. Plus I still got my coffee and got to work on time. That's what I do.

Ok, well today has just started...but yesterday, I didn't drift off into oblivion, I kept to a normal routine until I had to go to T...went...and waited until a quiet time to talk to my husband.
Today, I plan to continue my small list of getting things done and not being stagnate...I do feel better when I am active.
Thanks for this!

Yesterday: I went to work. Am making major progress on the filing! Met with my old T - we hit it off right away, she only wants me to focus on my BPD for right now so we can get that back under control, she told me how proud she is of how far I have come in 6 years, and that she is very impressed that I've had a steady and healthy relationship for almost 4 years . Went to girls' swim meet. Met a friend. Folded some laundry. Made supper.
Thanks for this!

I received a call from a former colleague from decades ago, a Pdoc (love this man - he was hiking when he called me ). He made medication suggestions which I took to my Pdoc app't a half hour later. Potential side effects scare me, but that's another forum. I stopped trying to prepare for a workshop when I was getting frenzied over it.
Thanks for this!
