What did you do right today? Part 2

I cleaned, did the laundry, took a nap, and a relaxing shower

Gave my husband real affection, gave my kids undivided attention, worked on my DBT skills.

Baked the cookies.
Cleaned the sink.
Did 3 loads of laundry.
Made a phone call.

Heading for a nap I earned!

Perfect shave

I baked kaiser rolls today and they came out perfect!

Finally lint-brushed the fur from the bunnies off of my towels so they could be washed. They had been in the clothes hamper for over a year! (the towels i.e., not the buns ;p)

Also, sent off notes to people that I had put off sending for 3 years, to clear up some misunderstandings. They will either think I am nuts and not even think there was anything that needed to be cleared up or will be glad I wrote what I wrote. no regrets. egads...

Dyed my hair.
Called my PMHNP for appt.
Managed to not totally lose it despite major internal chaos earlier today.

I am keeping this appointment regardless of the heavy snowfall this morning

I went home on my lunch break to give my dog some exercise!

I ate decent meals at decent times.
I showered.
I am taking care of important paper work that I had been avoiding.
I handled an interaction with a difficult person in a way that seemed to work out okay.
I was polite to my significant other, whom I sometimes get unduly impatient with.

allowed a coworker to bring me home in the snow- i did not take the buses and get my boyfriend up early - i am not even sure if our car would had made it

Thank you mr. coworker for the offer and thank me for allowing even though i was scared-- i have issues with the snow and people driving-- i asked if i could sit in the back though i felt a little kiddish to ask, and my coworker was like sure no problem-

I just hate the snow- i wish to live some where, where it does not snow- it scares me so much i feel like crying even though i got home ok

Chipped away at some odd chores on the to-do list (w/o resorting to procrastinatory cleaning, lol OR sneaking over to PC!).

I tidied up and did dishes.

Dyed an old skirt
Cleaned up the kitchen
Tidied up photo folders on computer

I realized and acknowleged the error of my thoughts toward my son and apologised to him for it, for I was comparing him to somebody else, instead of granting him his own individuality.

I looked inward.

I did not go postal on the Red Slip of disconnection on heat! That was promptly paid after I was upset about it--- I already paid the other bill-- yeah I may had given the silent treatment but I don't understand this "wait till I have to pay it" stuff from my BF some times-- It is rather upsetting, it stresses me out, and I am just not that way with bills-- Yeah I have outstanding debt from medical bills, but I write them and send a little check saying---- sorry and thanks for working with me- will be paid off some time

It is all you can do some times-- but with bills that are the normal-- wtf i don't get it. I don't think I ever will-- And I am boggled on where his sister and him picked up this habit cuz their mom and dad are not this way. And yeah I am poor just like them- yet I don't do this-

I didn't think of my ex t today.....( which is a huge deal for me ).....
I spent time with my girls.....
Went to my t session....
Gave myself a compliment ( something I NEVER EVER DO ) .....

Started the laundry. 2 loads down, 3 to go.
Made a loan via KIVA.

Went trail running with a friend for 9 miles.

Afterward we sat by a fireplace at a restaurant, and happily ate and chatted about our goals for 2012. All this without a single drink to bring me out of my protective shell.

It was so nice to get outside of my head, and be free from pain...and dream about a better place for myself...I'm grateful for today.

Cleaned the apartment quite thoroughly.
Stayed off the computer until I got it done.

Got out of bed after only half an hour of thinking about it.
Made my bed right away.
Ate breakfast.
Filled the bird feeders outside.
Was pleasant to a neighbor.
Did dishes.
Did some computer work.
Took junk out of my car.
Stopped feeling sorry for myself over my back being sore.

Made an appointment to see my doctor later this month.

Cleaned up the house before work
Made an actual dinner for my boyfriend and I-- So happy that I did and wish I could do it every day though-
came to work and got to cracking as usual-
