What did you do right today? Part 2

I listened to the bird complain to me. I think he wants to watch cackatiels on utube.

I hired a T. I biked to her office - an hour long ride. And then back, another hour. I memorized the directions. I did what needed to be done at work. I had lunch with the midwife who delivered my younger daughter 12 years ago.

I did a bunch of errrands some more related to more personals needs. The basically routine groceries, monthly doctor appts, and try to find the balance of comfort that not lead me to nirvanna. I am still on my slow progress to that goals.

I posted warnings to friends.

I MOVED! I left my mentally and emotionally abusive boyfriend.YAY me!!

Congratulations! Both stopping an abusive relationship and the physical act of moving require courage.

Me: I fed my kitties. I finished everything at work.

I focused on just my job today, it's seen as stepping on toes sometimes but I suggested some thing for better function and informing and a tool for every one. I'll know Monday, maybe, if it's shot down... Too much of not letting others know or access things for job protection which is sad. But haven't gotten told yet so no worries right.

Bless you. I mean it. Bless you for drawing up that crazy kind of courage and leaving. I do not mean that you are crazy. You are amazing, but to leave an abusive man takes a special kind of courage. A courage in which you must endure the stress of every nerve in your body, where the slightest puff of air sucks your heart into your throat and causes a constant buzzing in your head that makes it almost impossible to listen for car doors and footfalls. It is almost pure madness in its bravery...crazy-courage.

Spent a lot of time on psychcentral today...helped some people and felt really good about it

I found my way fine in an unfamiliar town, at night.

I got out bed before nine.

I ate healthy and didn't let a political discussion tear me up.

finally got outta bed, washed, put on clean clothes and ate. too much effort just now but done it anyways ....

I have taken steps to protect myself from never ending harassment by drafting a "cease and desist" letter and sending it to my former teacher for feedback.

Today I recognized at 8:30 in the morning I was enjoying a moment of happiness - listening to a favorite song and getting some work done. I want to recognize the happy moments more and dwell less on the problem ones.

Meditated for 12 minutes

Posted something that is important for me.

Cleaned the kitchen and cooked homemade chili

Started laundry.
