Refused to allow my mom to bully me into not doing something I want to do ( I am in my 40's, she is in her 80s).

Vacuumed the house.

Organized one bathroom. Had lunch with a former coworker. Did laundry. Went to the post office to return a a package. Put yoga clothes in a bag and placed the bag in the trunk, to be prepared for yoga classes.

What I am about to do right...pick my son up from practice, then succumb to their dollar store request, with my own motive. They love the Pokemon decks there, so sure kids, but um, each of you is picking out a box, and when you get home, ALL those cards are being organized, since I wouldn't dare dream of picking them up wrong, and watch wars happen. And while there, just used my last lightbulb and I need new scouring pads...

Walking away from an annoying futile problem that I can't fix unless : they give me the tools to or I some how run that damn PDA down three buildings before it looses juice.

Saying it's out of my hands now, which can be hard for me to do.

I don't know if this is per say something right but it made me super happy last night. I have had a lot of stuff going on lately that is really stress me out hard core.

I went and saw my BF last night while he was at a bowling alley. Since the weather were I live is just getting steadily worse and worse....

he knows I am going through a rough time and he gave his usual kiss good night and then started receptively kissing my forehead a lot....in kind of a way of saying " I love you I care about you and I am worried about you...."

it was a small gesture but it did make lot of difference to me by him doing so.

am refraining from calling a potential employer to find out if I got the job, even though I'm dying to find out. (They said I'd find out one way or the other "early" this week, and it's only Tuesday morning.)

Loaded the dishwasher, washed the wok, scrubbed the kitchen counters, and right now working on getting a package ready to go back to Amazon. I've done more in the past hour than the past month.

Put away the Christmas tree (finally!), cleaned off the couch, and unloaded the dishwasher. Doing small things is helping me feel a little better about myself.

I met the goal I set for myself. Just the fact that I set a goal is a major accomplishment, not to mention that I met it!
