Avoided the temptation to get involved in something that was not my business.

Listened to my sister, who has several issues right now that are worrying her. Avoided giving advice.

Helped a friend a bit. Bought groceries. Cleaned out the trunk and the front seat. Took care of kitty litter, which was long overdue. Took a shower and washed my hair.

Brought some cash, to buy the concession snacks; breathed through a couple of their 'I wanna go home' moments, but in general; getting my younger two to sit through this tournament, places me in a better position, to not need to pay for a sitter, in the future. ((just need to remember to bring my wall charger for the phone and ipod))

told my s/o-- that cleaning up the house helps with self respect, in a joking way to him.. but it is one of my things around here that is a symbolism of it.

I helped an older person at work, get set up with an email address...

This is not only good on the grounds of helping out someone that is a bit older come to terms that the day of age are changing and more technology is being used, and email is being used, if not required by some things; But also that I did not let it bother me that a few years ago I attempted to get this same person set up with an email account prior.
years ago, I had went through it all with them, and immediately after doing so they said to delete it, so I did.. I did not even bring it up the past of this with them & was happy to help them, I just told them "welcome to the new millennium!" and showed them how to log out and clear browsing history for their security.

good or bad, whatever... I feel a bit better right now though with helping out.
