Hi Broken. Yes, they do put the blame on the victim. I wasn't physically abused, but my ex has hit my daughter and when I confronted him with it he laughed and said she deserved it. She was mad at her brother and was slamming her bedroom door, so he hit her on the back with a belt. He's also told her not to tell anyone that he's hit her, or he'll go to jail.

You don't deserve to be hit. I hope you can get the courage to seek help through an abuse shelter.

YES!!!!!! I was told the whole time I was growing up that it was my fault. If you werent so beautiful I wouldnt have to do this to you. Its you fault for wearing that shirt. You know things like that. They are sick and they dont want to take the responsibilty for their own actions. They blame everyone else!!!!

It is not your fault!!!!
