this is not too serious but never the less it is important, ... what time do you go to bed, and what time should you call bed time, ...

I know for me it has been 11:30 to 1 am lately ... with a wake time of 4 to 5 am ...

But to really have good sleep hygiene I should be in bed by 10;30, ... but there is always something to prevent that ... I am trying to hold to the proper schedule ...

How about you ... ? what times and how does it affect you ... ?

Nice question. I have trouble falling asleep. I have too many thoughts running around in my head. I usually take a sleeping pill around 11:30pm and get into bed by 12:30. I probably fall asleep (on a good night) at around 2 am. I would like to be in bed and asleep by 12:30. I know if I get too little sleep I feel tired and cranky all day. Seeing as I'm not working at the moment and don't really have any kind of schedule it isn't too big a deal when I go to bed. Ideally, I would like to get up earlier in the day.

My sleep schedule has been between 12 midnight to 2am, with a wake up time of 5.30am-7.20am.

I should be sleeping at around 10pm to allow my body to repair itself, but unfortunately, I'm a dumbass who waits til I regret spoiling my body clock.

The reasons why I am not able to sleep enough:

1. Dedication to rake a fixed/certain amount of experience(xp) on a particular childhood mmorpg game every day even if I come back home late.
2. Tendency to engage in midnight conversations with another person online.
3. I feel more "myself" or alive in the other word, when I sleep late.
4. I am paranoid that I might miss out something important if I goes to sleep, but eventually I will still sleep and regret it in the morning.

When I use to be on Seroquel not that long ago I would go to bed between 12:30 and 1 am and wake up at 11:00 am, I work a weird schedule. If I stayed up later to hang out with friends and take my pills a little bit later I would be off physically and mentally the next day. Now being off Seroquel, everything is a mess. Meds aren't working consistently, and my mind never shuts up. So I'm feeling off right now, but no definite episodes.

I go bed when I get tired and that could be any time day or night. I sleep for about 1 hour and then I'm good to go for a while longer.
I get about 3 hours sleep a day this way, 4 hours if I'm very lucky, and this was even with taking Zopiclone and Trazodone for sleep.
Now I have stopped taking those 2 drugs and sleep about 1/2 to 3/4 hour per time.

It's a good thing I have the Internet to keep me busy because it really helps to keep my mania and deep depression at bay.

I go to bed at 9pm and get up around 7am. With the meds I'm on that works for me.

My sleep schedule has been messed up since daylight savings and my night meds are really strong so I need about 12 hours a night.... I go to bed at 7 and sleep til 7-7:30 so I can get stuff done during the day. Trying to shift it later but haven't succeeded yet.

I try to have good sleep hygiene. I generally wake up the same time every day under duress. I have really hard time falling asleep though and I can't change my wake up time so I mostly have to take melatonin every night to get to sleep on time . I think my body clock thing just doesn't work right. What a surprise

I take temazapam and sleep from 9-5 or till 8or 9 if I am off. Before the med though I couldn't hardly sleep it took forever to fall asleep.

I cycle through the clock. Right now I'm falling asleep around 2 and waking or getting up by 11, but I'm desperately trying to dial it back so I can wake by 8 am.

I usually sleep from 9 PM to 5:30 AM Monday - Friday. On the weekends I still get sleepy a bit earlish to me. Very rarely can I make it to midnight now. A year ago I begged my body to sleep now I'm asking it to live a little on the weekends. LOL

This is something I'm working on, I did for a while after being in for a week keep the same schedule and go to bed around 10:30 11 pm. I usually woke up between 6-7am.

But

I started watching Big Bang reruns after the news, then Simpsons, and being on the computer, getting into light fun fast books that I want to read in one go, even if it means reading though the whole night.
So now I go to bed between 1-2am and don't sleep as well because I stay awake though that golden window of easy sleep that's a side effect of my meds. I take ambien, melatonin, and Benadryl with my night meds. I need to be in bed and off the electronics so I fall asleep and stay asleep. I've been postponing taking my meds for that reason but I still don't sleep as well as I did when I was keeping better hours.

I am in bed by 10pm on weeknights, sometimes a little later on weekends but not usually.

I need to make sure I am active during the day and able to relax my body at bed time. This has taken practice with meditation. I also sleep more soundly on days I have meditated usually.

I don't sleep for a few hours once in bed but I make sure I am in bed regardless of if I am actually asleep for at least 8 hours. Your body can still get rest even if you're not asleep the whole time.

Waking is harder for me personally but I am out of bed at the latest by 8am.

I had to be really strict with myself about 5 yrs back when I committed to this routine, hypo mania made it harder and depression wanted me in bed too much but now I keep the schedule without too much problem.

Im usually to sleep by 930 1030 and i wake between 6 and 9. This works wonders for me. I must admit though, my abilify really helps keep me asleep all night. Acupuncture has helped too.

I am usually in bed at about 8:00pm, and then I read for an hour.
I take a Zopiclone and sleep until 6:00am the following morning.
I tend to sleep soundly all night, but do have to get up to go to
the bathroom once or twice.
