Anyone try any herbal remedies for anxiety or depression? I googled and came across passion fruit tea which I did try and actually helped with my anxiety today. Anyone have any experience like this?

I've been feeling pretty anxious since quitting the booze so I've been drinking a tea brand called "Yogi" before bed, they have different brews that are supposed to promote different types of mood or whatever. I'm pretty sure this is the stuff I've been drinking https://jet.com/product/detail/6782f...6JcRoCkfrw_wcB

It's pretty relaxing and doesn't make me have to piss 30 different times before finally being able to fall asleep.

I've seen it and bought a couple of boxes. The passion fruit that I was talking about I got from Amazon and it is loose tea. Have you ever tried it during the day? Right now I'm feeling calm and less anxious than I was (going to gym spikes my anxiety).

Oh cool. No, I don't usually drink tea during the day, I'm more of a coffee guy because I have to wake up early. I just drink tea about 45 minutes or so before turning in for the night and it's been helping quite a bit.

Have you tried listening to any guided meditations before? You can find a bunch of free ones on youtube. I was listening to them a lot earlier in the week and they were super relaxing and helped me feel less stressed / helped me find ways to help my self calm down throughout the day.

Me too. I do well with green tea (the decaf one) and camomile tea.
I also find that ginger tea is great for a tummy ache

I find hot tea calming, especially chamomile mint (sleepytime). I drink it even in the middle of the day to calm anxiety.

My friend from Brazil said drinking the juice was calming so must be the same with the tea!

I find tea relaxing, any kind honestly. Just the act of relaxing with a cup of tea, herbal or not, and a book helps me wind down.

I'm the same. I can be drinking black tea and still end up feeling more relaxed.

There is also a kava stress relief tea that is great for anxiety. So is linden flower tea. My go to is always chamomile. To me it works almost as good as a klonopin.

Like others have mentioned, I like sleepy time chamomile tea for helping to fall asleep. And just for something decaffeinated I like Bengal spice. Kinda tastes like pumpkin pie. Yum!

Kava stress relief tea. Where do I find that, it doesn't sound familiar.

You can find it at whole foods or one of those other health food type stores. It's Yogi brand.

I drink chamomile tea when I'm anxious. I have a rx for xanax, but whenever I take it, it knocks me out and makes me feel weird for hours later. Chamomile is great.

I will have to try passionflower and lemon balm; thanks for the tip!
