I told my daughter my brain hurt. She wanted to see a picture so I found one online and showed her, and then we started massaging our brains through our heads. lol!

I would really like to know more about the "blue bicycle," 'cause I love bikes. Maybe if I share first? Lemmee see.... Well, since we are talking "blue bicycles," my first mountain bike was a Giant Blue Iguana.
I still have it. I no longer sell my bikes, I like keeping a stable of them. I only hope to ride (at least one) one again. Have been laid up with medical stuff.

Do you ride a bicycle? It's so much fun! I like to ride my road bike and I like to mountain bike and... I like to ride hybrids, too. I've loved fast bikes ever since I was a young child.
Cool story

I love riding

I actually want to buy myself a bike desk so I can ride my bike while working. I think those desks are soooo cool. It'd be great to use on rainy days, as I don't like riding when it's wet.

First mountain bike was blue, though. My absolute favorite!

I don't ride hybrids, though. I just use a mountain bike. road bikes are nice, but I don't do tons of road biking

I'm just trying to figure this all out. It's a great big puzzle. I am diagnosed as having 2 separate disorders and I'm trying to figure out which behavior/symptom goes with which disorder. Some are obvious and with others I need a better understanding of my illness'. But, I'm certain they are definitely feeding off of one another.

I raced road bikes for some unknown number of years. My favorite was a Basso with Campagnolo components. It was red.

I currently have a cyclocross bike, black and red, with Sram components. I do a little road riding, but I use it more like a mountain bike with my son. The closest I came to owning a regular mountain bike was in '96 while living in Spain my wife and I had hybrids for cyclo-touring. (I found I don't care for flat bars.)

I know that I twice hit cars on my bike, but, thanks to ECT, can't recall details. Oh, well.

Oh, feeling much better today after recuperating from the ECT on Wednesday. Lingering headache all Thursday; first time ever that's happened.

I feel paralyzed with anxiety and don't know why. I have some days off from work and that's what produces the most anxiety, so I don't get it. Hate it. I didn't shower yesterday or do anything really. Need to get off my butt, shower, and get things done today. I took an extra klonopin (never do this), but I need a kick-start, to feel relaxed so I can get going, go on with my life for god's sake!

Touch your left toe, touch you right toe, then the little toe. Clasp your hands behind your back, turn around thrice while chanting I will win, I will wing, I will win.

Damn. It's hard enough to touch my toes now that I'm fat. I'm getting confused in the chanting too. Are you sure the wing thing goes in the middle?.

Ha ha, lol I didn't realize I said to wing it, but isn't that what one does in poker and hope for a matching hand of golden eggs?

Poker is a cruel game. No matter how you wing it. You lose with good cards. The bad are folded.

I'm gonna make a small change, I'm gonna wing it at the end. Easier to remember.
I have started the charm many times only to finish wingless.
I'm still losing. Maybe I should turn to the left?. Or one and one?. And if so, where to start.
Left or right. Ur chanting is a little complicated to do it the right way.
Have you, by any chance, tried it?. Maybe it will bring good luck to you too.

Feeling a bit icky today. Getting feelings of dread and doom and gloom periodically. It hits me hard in the stomach and chest and feels gross. I threw my sleeping schedule way out of whack and hopefully this is the cause. I'm resetting my clock and have resisted napping all day. I will hopefully sleep well tonight. Went out to eat with son and hubby earlier. That was fun and filling.

Just finished first day back at work after 5 weeks sick leave. Went amazingly well. I was worried I would forget my job or be crippled with anxiety but I was alert and calm, able to perform all tasks well. Yesterday I was really low but after a good days rest and a good sleep I seem to have bounced back. Another day at work tomorrow and I am hopeful it will go well.

Right on, Wander. That's good news to see.

It's just a quiet day for me. Probably spend it on the coast with the family. There's a town near here with a bookstore which operates on the honor system. No staff to take your money, just drop it in the box. I think we'll make a pilgrimage.

I still take my meds if I have been drinking.
Why shouldn't we?
I just thought that they have a more sedating effect.

What are your 4th plans?
I see a client this morning then lunch with Jeff at chris's po boys for some chicken and sausage gumbo( not gumbo weather but it is cool in there and it is so good we eat it all year round here!)
then hair appointment at 1pm then another client at 4 or so.

Tomorrow have 2 clients at 1;30 so we will still get to eat brunch at the hub city diner before hand.

Off monday and will travel to a little town about 40 minutes from our house called Erath. They have a nice fireworks display and few rides for the kids. There will be music, this will be the 3rd year in a row to go there.
Last year jeff was able to find some beer there that he liked at a bar. The owner had some IPA beer that she had bought for her son but was willing to sell it to jeff. Her poor son!

We did terrible at trivia last night! But still had fun.
Split a pizza which is always yummy... and also shared some sushi that I just had a hankering for.

Happy weekend all!

Oh, wow, the biking -- what fun!

Sorry about the headache from ECT.

I get such a high around bikes. It's odd. Lol.

Nice to hear about your adventures!
Lots of biking enthusiasts around, you may be surprised.

Fun to ride with your son, I am sure!

Thanks again for sharing!

I have always just loved bikes. The faster they would go, the better!
We have both had many over the years, I am sure. I can barely recall my first bike, it had training wheels I had my brother remove pronto. LOL.

I'd had several as a child/teen, as I kept buying, selling, trading.

I had Schwinn's first 21 spd. I loved that and it was blue. A road bike.
I had saved from mowing lots of lawns to buy that one!

My first loves are road bikes, ready for racing, they are so f-a-s-t! I love the speed! I have had a few and only wanted more and more. It get to be like an addiction with me.

I have had two mountain bikes.
Hybrids, 3. Just because I like to buy/sell/trade.

I stopped trading/selling a while ago because I had started to customize the bikes with various components, etc. Never gonna get the money put into them back out of those!

However, I may have to sell at some point. It depends upon how much rehab I can tolerate. I cannot safely ride right now. If/when I can, I will start with a hybrid.

Thanks so much for sharing!

I hope you have a good weekend!

Hi Bizi!

Your screen name fits so well! You seem to have lots of plans for work and for your time off! I think it's great! I need to do better with planning and sticking to plans. I have gotten into the habit of leaving lots to last minute planning.

For the 4th -- so many options, we are taking a page from this thread and we are gonna "WING" it, while hoping to WIN, WIN.

We have lots we can do for the 4th, it' truly a matter of deciding what we want to do. It seems we'd prefer to leave town to see friends further away. We did not plan the trip though. Ooops.

I haven't been sure what I would be "up to" physically. When the chronic pain is bad, it's a nightmare and I cannot go anywhere but to the ER. This mixed episode has been a bit unpredictable, too.

I hope you and jeff have lots of fun!

I wonder -- and I truly do not know -- if we haven't drank a lot, if we are better of not taking some meds or cutting back in the dose, or taking them?

I have repeatedly heard adamant advice about certain meds and never messing with them by not taking them or by drastically cutting the dose all of a sudden.

It's an important point, thanks for bringing it up.
Bizi has also commented on this.

I see where some literatures says alcohol just increases side-effects of certain meds. Yet, we also hear about these famous people who take a few meds, mix them with alcohol and then they suddenly, unexpectedly "expire" in their sleep.

I guess this is a point I will clarify with my doctor and pharmacists.

On one hand, it's better to be safe than sorry. On the other, does it create another huge blow to the body/mind to suddenly be totally missing meds?

I honestly do not know.
