Things are going ok, not great, but not bad either. Things certainly could be much worse. I'm still trying to get settled into my new apartment and there are boxes and bags of stuff EVERYWHERE and it's driving me nuts. I'd stay up and try to get some stuff done while I have energy but I know my brother will be home eventually and all he'll want to do is go straight to bed (apparently he had a bad day at work, according to my mom). Met with my pdoc yesterday who reminded me that I need to stop being so hard on myself. We're keeping my cocktail the same for now and will keep evaluating as needed. The only change is that he now wants me to see my therapist every week instead of every 3-4 weeks. I'm trying to remain positive, but sometimes it's just not that easy.

My aunt who is BP1 apparently had a really bad week and my mom was afraid she'd end up back in the hospital. Thankfully she seems to have calmed down enough that it didn't end up that way. I used think of everything my aunt has gone through over the years and it would make me sad. Now I'm almost angry at the fact that could be me someday. Yes, I'm still angry and bitter about my diagnosis and I'm trying to get past it, but again...it's not easy.

Well my Grandpa died this morning. My Mom woke me up after she got here to tell me (my Grandma couldn't). We're just waiting for home hospice to get here to determine time of death and take him away for the last time...

Sorry to hear that.

My grandpa died almost 2 weeks ago, so I can relate. It's a very tough thing to deal with.

My best advice is be there for your grandma, ok? My grandma was so upset when her husband passed, constantly having crying spells. We don't know what would've happened to her if we weren't there to support her. She kept saying things like, "I want God to take me with him." So, it's very important to be with her. We had my grandma stay with us for almost 2 weeks. It helped her immensely.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Take care of yourself and be there for those around you, if possible.

It's still morning so I haven't started my day yet, but I still feel good. Need to figure out what to dig into first. I haven't felt this good in months, so it's definitely an improvement.

Hey I can get behind the Dr. Pepper!

A few week's ago, I found Surge at the gas station. I hadn't seen a can of Surge in at least 15 years. I got waaaay too excited.

It was a drink Coca Cola Company started making in the 1990s to compete with Pepsi's Mountain Dew. They quit making it in the early 2000s, but recently started making it again in small quantities. So it's very similar to mt dew.

Lots'a stress

My grandma has officially lost it. She is f***ing nuts. She keeps insulting my aunt (her daughter) for no good reason. She has these bizarre delusions that my aunt is going to drag her to hell, "just like she did with grandpa", which is why she now hates my aunt.

Then about 1 hour ago she threw a porcelain plate and a glass beer bottle at my aunt while shrieking, "YOU ARE NOT DRAGGING ME TO HELL. I'M RUNNING AWAY."

Now we have to find a place to put her, but only after we get her mentally evaluated. We don't live near her, so we're having my dad's cousin pick her up take care of her. Hopefully she doesn't think he's "evil" too.

It's bad

I'm sorry to hear about your grandmas meltdown blue, it sounds like losing her husband was very traumatic.

Bizi...I love white Russians, haven't had one in years, black Russians too! There's a very good ice-cream drink( don't recall the name) It's a black Russian in vanilla ice cream.

I really don't feel like taking my meds.
Sometimes I just feel rebellious and quit taking them for a few days.
I just am tired of it

I sometimes get tired of BP
Tired of pills
Tired of being tired
Tired of feeling like I'm watching a movie
Maybe no more pills for a few days might help

Can't stop crying, the reality is setting in that my Grandpa really is gone forever, and I'll never get to talk to.him again. I'll really miss our 3am chats especially if I was manic/hypomanic and he was a nocturnal creature like myself. I'll just miss everything about him. I know he's in my heart and watching over us. But I just wish I had one more.chance to tell him in person that I love him.

As of right now trying to distract myself from crying a bit by posting on here and maybe getting something to eat.
