Showered, got chest x-ray taken care of, made it into work. Not sure if I'll last all day, but I'm here and even though I'm really slow I'm working

I had the morning off of work so slept in, fooled around at home had a leisurely lunch then saw 2 clients in the afternoon. Easy day. Have been working full days since christmas. So it was glorious to have some me time.

Got up, showered, came to work. Working on backlog log of stuff and feeling good about the progress. I've had so much fmla absence it felt like I'd never get caught up, seeing a light at the end of the tunnel now

Went to the gym again. Showered. Saw a friend at Starbucks. It's cold out. I'm finally home again.

I got out to see a movie and impressed myself with how smoothly it went. Budgeted and was happy to see the future looks brighter than i thought. Continued to diet and manage my hunger well.

Got up, showered, came to work....5 minutes early lol. Working on my backlog again this morning, this afternoon I'll get back to daily duties so those stay current as well. I've struggled with work for a long time, it feels good to be focused and have a game plan for catching up. Hopefully I don't need to use any fmla days anytime soon.

Downloaded Spotify and was amazed how fast it learns.

Bought new socks and underwear with a target gift card.

Had lunch with a friend.

Made a Dr appointment for tomorrow at 815 am. Ugh

Took some books back to the library and did some dreary shopping which needed doing. I ended up taking a cab home but it was just $10 so not too bad. It's nice to know i have the fridge stocked with low-cal snacks to keep me comfortable while dieting.

I stood up to my boss and did not allow her to make my shift hellish by adding more (unnecessary) tasks. Her boss then later told me that I did the right thing. Win.
